{PRP between PrincessEv's Adriel & Raja's Molan. Please do not post without permission!}  Though it was still just fall, the mornings and evenings were bitterly cold. Perhaps it was because winter was fast approaching this year, but perhaps it was morning magic. The latter was an idea that Adriel liked more.
Blowing a piece of snow white hair out of his left eye, he continued his march to the incense shop. He counted his steps as he walked, something that had started once he learned numbers. He could already read at a fifth grade human level, and had the same social skills as a sixth grader. Elizabeth and Sofia called him smart, but Sylvera knew that he was simply eager to learn and a good student.
However, despite his knowledge, Adriel refused to believe that magic did not exist. He had seen Fia and Liz did mysterious things, he watched as Hokkyokusei's body glowed like the stars in the sky, and he had felt an inner warmth radiating from Niahm's body. Surely this was much more than just their nature. Surely only magic could be the reason for those things.
As he approached the shop, he realized the door was slightly open. Finding this odd, he nudged it open a few more inches using his horn. It was cold inside, just like the outside. Was Imriel only letting the shop air out? Couldn't she have waited later in the day when it was warmer? Though the cold did not bother him, it seemed slightly out of character for Imriel. Was someone else here?
