AIM LOG: Syrius Lionwing & _ p a o cx
Her overly large body filled space like none other, in fatc it could generally be said if there was a large space ubuge could manage to fill it with her sheer size and total decedance. She liked to pad about in the mortal rhealms and more to the point she liked to rest in them too, the sun was always warm, the shade always cooling and the mortals always plentiful. Occasionally, she would run in to a god and it was also usually a facinating bit of conversation. Something to remember and quite often something to keep. It was odd how gods often aggreed to let her have a feather or a flock of their manes, or what ever took their fancy.
Odd, but not unusual. A smile the like of a cat that got the cream spreads across her lips and she sighs happily, twitching her duel pair of tiny wings causing a beautiful tinkling musical sound to fuill the air caused by her many twinkets which adorned her wings. She did so love the mortal rhealm.
This particularly sweltering day would have been enough to piss the hell out of anybody - and Tarik was by no means an exception. In fact, he would probably be the first one irritated by the annoying heat eminating from the sun. The simple existence of the giant ball of gas mocked his very being, and while he'd never taken it personally, being the god of ice it was actually somewhat reasonable for him to be upset. Why, in the name of all that is good, did it ALWAYS have to be so hot!? With an expression that screamed 'back the hell off', Tarik made his way across the savannah, wondering why he didn't just spread his wings and fly off to the haven and take shelter. The answer was simple, really. It was too damn hot to do just about anything.
Still, despite his irritation, a tinkling sound nearby managed to catch his attention. His first thoughts, of course, were 'ice' and all things about the substance, since in a certain form it could make a similar sound. However, when his senses came back to him his brows furrowed in utter annoyance as he approached the direction of the sound. "Hello?" he called, looking about for the source of the noise.
Ubuges eyes opened at the first sound of the voice, she suddenly became very shiny, not that she wasn't shiny before she simply rediated her shimmering gold and silver, her gems and silks when someone approached. She liked to show off, escpecially to other gods, and this young god, well, he was worth showing off for, deep steely blue fur, and a look of sombre irritation. "Hello dahling, what can I do for you hmm?" She puurrs shifting slightly so she didn't take up all of the shade she was laying in she points her nose downwards.
"You look a little wam my love, why don't you sit a spell in the shade hmm?" Her deep, dark piggy eyes smile almost vanishing beneath her pudgy cheeks. "My name is Ubuge lovely, and what does the young gentlman go by hmm?"
Tarik was, strangely enough, not so surprised when he ran into none other than a goddess. He seemed to be running into them lately so he'd gotten used to it by now. Still, the look on his face could still be considered priceless as he stared at this rather large goddess in slight shock. The male had never encountered her before, that was for sure. It took a few seconds, but when he finally snapped out of it without thinking he took her up on her offer of shade. It was too hot to really think things through all that well - that was his excuse. "Thanks.. Ubuge," he replied, still a little out of it. "Ah.. I go by Tarik," he went on, gaze now steady on her. It was only then that he noticed the myriad of trinkets that adorned her wings, and he made an 'o' shape with his mouth when he realized that those trinkets were the origin of the tinkling.
"Right," he started again after he caught himself staring. Most of it was because he was trying to figure out what it was that she ruled over, but after about a minute he gave up and broke the rather awkward silence. Clearing his throat he asked, "So what exactly is your um...domain?"
The black goddess chuckled, he was young, she wouldn't hold that against him, young gods were either easily manipulated or simply a rest for the over worked brain. Not that she thought them all simple, but usually youngsters felt awed in her presence. She was after all larger than life and decked in a multitude of items that many of them had never even seen. "I my dahling am the goddess of greed." She puurrs, a proud smile on her maw, she was not afraid to state her domain, it was mortals whom took up the bulk of her domain with the odd sparkly god for the sprinkles.
"And you my love? You seem a little lost on the savannah with your pretty blue coat" She purs reaching over and touching one of his wings with a gentle flick of her claws. "You stand out, if you will excuse the phrase, like a sore thumb." She chuckles her dark eyes once again vanishing in to their deep pudgy recesses.
Greed, huh? A bit of a cross between tangible and intangible.. certainly an interesting domain. Tarik nodded, a bit more than intrigued with the goddess. He kept it all to himself though, staying silent up until she commented on his appearance. At her last statement he chuckled lightly and offered a bit of a shrug. "The compliments are a bit much, but thank you," he replied, a bit uncomfortable since he was still unused to being, well...complimented. "My domain is ice, so much like yourself I believe I look the part." He gave his wings a tiny little flap from which came a cold breeze. "I'm a frequent visitor around here, believe it or not," he continued, glancing around. "Though as of late I've been visiting mostly at night to avoid the heat."
Ubuge smiled very carefully looking the young god over. Ice, "Yes you suit it." She chuckles playfully, stareing him up and down without any sence of personal boundried. "I think my dahling that you must enjoy the heat more than you let on hmm?" She lets a little tinkling laugh fall over her lips and her wings flutter once again creating the sound of shimmering icicles.
"I am not that surprised my love, we often go to places where we are not needed but feel curious of hmm?" She purses her lips glancing the young god over, she wondered. "Usually my dahling people come to me because they want somehting, what my Tarik do you desire hmm?" she licks he rlips her soft pink tongue a stark contrast against her black lips, this meant her mind was working, what could she get from this young god and what would she be willing to exchange for a little peice of him?
"No," he replied bluntly. "I really don't like the heat. That's why I'm usually only around at night." The reply seemed a bit curt, but he didn't mean anything by it. He really just wasn't in the greatest of moods, especially when someone tries to prove something to him that he had a very decided opinion on. Still, she probably didn't mean to. He just happened to interpret it that way.
He shrugged at her next statement. "I guess so. I've never thought about it." When she finished what she had to say Tarik raised a curious brow, not quite picking up the hint. The male gave her question a bit of thought, but came up with nothing. "Nope, can't think of a thing," he replied, smiling slightly. "Maybe we just ran into each other by coincidence?"
"Perhaps, perhaps my love, or maybe we were brought together by the fates hmm?" She smiles a wide, winning smile, her dark piggy eyes vanishing in to the recesses of her cheeks. "I am a great believer in fate, perhaps you were sent to me rather than me to you hmm?"
She purrs lifting a paw to his wings once again, she had ignored his curt reply, he was clearly irritated by the heat, she didn't mind, maybe today she was due to get something extra special, something only a male god could provide.
The fates? He furrowed his brows, slightly confused. He'd never really believed in the concept of 'fate', but judging by the other's words he could tell that there were those who did. He gave another shrug. "Maybe, we'll probably never know." Tarik smiled at the other, not wanting to tell her that he didn't believe in fate or anything of that sort. "I guess that's one way to look at it though."
He cleared his throat to break the awkward sort of silence that followed his words. Though he was familiar with being alone with another female, he couldn't really tell what she'd been getting at earlier. Suffice it to say that with all his 'experience' he was still rather...dense.
Ubuge chuckles lightly, flickering her tail she curls it up around the little blue god, her black fur start contrast against his blue, "The fates, the moons and stars, there are different beliefs my little darling, mine, I believe in greed above la nod when I want something I take it, though with you, i will ask outright my little love."
She purses her lips and lowers her nose to his ear "I want some children Tarik and you are clearly a very," she pauses and looks him over "Fertile young stallion, will you stay with me tonight? i will reward you for your services, perhaps with a little bit of ice?" She lifts her paw and int he centre shimmers a perfectly cut diamond, it's facets shimmering in the dappled light of the shade. "It's beautiful isn't it?" She coos looking at him, innuendo gnu from her voice, changed to simple determination.
The change in her voice seemed a bit strange, but when she openly stated what it was that she wanted from him he couldn't help but want to smack himself upside the head for not getting it sooner. Of course! He smiled, almost shyly, at the goddess, not really sure how he ought to reply. "Uh.." he started, unsure as ever. When his eyes caught sight of the diamond though he made his decision.
"Alright.." he said slowly, tearing his gaze away from the stone and moving it to the eyes of the female before him. "But there's no need to reward me for anything, as beautiful as that is. If it's children you want then I'd be happy to oblige."
Ubuges dark eyes smiled in the darkness of her face, tiny stars twinkling in the shadows. "You have made my day my little love." She purrs, putting the diamond around his neck on a silver chain. "You deserve a little reward you are doing me a great service." She looks at the gem, she could always find him if he wore it, it was a good deal for her, she could allays find the items she had 'lost' they were always still hers.
Getting to her paws in an easy manner, she looks down at the young god, with a smile as wide as the cheshire cat, the cat had just gotten the cream. Leaning down she licks the top of his head and heads off in a northerly direction, her movements easy and almost lithe despite the rolls of fat and extreme weight she had to move around. "Come on my darling, we'll go some whee cooler shall we?" She chuckles her blond tipped tail flickering behind her in a almost come hither manner. She was about to get exactly what she wanted and that pleased her very much.
