You mean that newest shop?
I know, seriously. I guess it's just a way for people to spend more gold. Perhaps help the Gaia economy, like a virtual stimulus package. xD
Either that, or people are just going to buy the items with cash, and then sell them for even more in the marketplace...

well I like it that the rich Gaian's are getting what they want with very expensive items to blow there gold on...but yet I hate it also cause there is an item I like but it's too expensive for a poor Gaian like me crying

It's not bad. I'm going to have the airship by next week, I bet you. o3o
I think it's a wonderful idea, a great gold sink for those vendors/exchangers that have like 20 million gold just sitting there. Trust me, there are tons of vendors/exchangers who do, and I know quite a few people (some of whom are friends) that do have that amount of money lying around.
Gaia needed a gold sink for the richer part of Gaia. The lotto is more for the poorer part of Gaia.

I'm not sure about this at all, but I think someone told me that the prices are supposed to fluctuate? So it might become cheaper in the future?
One thing's for sure though, it's another attempt at fixing Gaia's economy... A very strange one.
