These three greens might not seem like much, but there's quite a story to them.
They're the last offspring of Shatih, the former senior gold at Telgar Weyr. Where are the rest of them? There aren't any. Shaith's final flight was short, lazy and recognized as her rider's final attempts to stay top dog.
The clutch had four eggs. All were greens, one of which went between after quite a frenzied spectacle. If it's bad luck or has something to do with the flight, the world may never know. What we do know is these three greens, born only recently, made it and in spite of their low headcount are shaking up the Weyr.
First thing you notice is that they're all so angry. They were born that way, and given their status, it's getting worse. People consider all three of them a joke, and don't hold their riders in much higher regard. They are a very tight knit group, however.
Poor dragons! Or is it poor Telgar?
Contest ends Oct. 17th, 11 PM EST.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet?
Um, excuse you. Clearly you do not know who Roseth is, because no one smells better than her. No one is smarter than her, faster than her, or in any way better than her. The only time she'll yield is to Nellath, and even then, it's more out of respect than truly acknowledging she's not better than her clutchmate at something. (Which she is, just so you know.) People have accused Roseth of compensating for some deep rooted insecurities, but that couldn't be further from the truth in her mind. The reality is that is very true. Being looked down upon makes her blood boil! In her defense, Roseth is stronger, faster and smarter than most other greens. Her social skills, well, that's where she needs some serious work.
Her desire to win is a steadfast first place of "Most Ridiculous Award". You really can't win them all. Unless, of course, you're Roseth. If she can't be the best of the best, she'll be the best at being the worst. It doesn't make much sense to a lot of people, but the logic translates perfectly to her, thank you very much. Maybe you're just too stupid to get it. At the end of the day, she can always, always say she did something better than the norm. (Even if that something is failing.)
She considers golds to be pests, but would rather just listen to them and get it over with then go gripe about it to Nellath and Kannaroth later. Roseth's biggest problem is not gossip, it's ignoring problems. If something bad happens, she'll ignore it until she forgets or it goes away. It hasn't failed her so far, so why fix what isn't broken? Other than the two greens, she only holds her rider in high esteem. Perhaps too high. Why can't they act like they ride a gold or bronze? If they weren't better than their riders, she wouldn't have picked them. Duh.
She is, after all, Roseth the Great.

All three greens have a high opinion of themselves, but when you get down to the bare facts of the matter, neither is quite as clever as Kannaroth. Really, not many dragons are, for that matter. She's a devilish little troublemaker who decided if she can't be accepted by everyone else, the least she can do is torment them at every given opportunity. Thus, her wit is not necessarily used for any bettering effects unless you count her own amusement.
There is a very odd quirk that Kannaroth has so far unseen in any other dragon in Telgar: She is not only very fond of firelizards, but they always seem to like her. Often times she assembles the smaller creatures and somehow bribes them into doing her bidding. See that big, big cake over there? Go crash into it and she'll let you eat the whole thing and give you two meatrolls! Some of them might even listen to her just because they like her. It will be a sorry day for the Weyr if she somehow manages to build up her miniature firelizard "army".
Kannaroth is the least loyal of her sisters, but she still cares about them and her rider in a deep, special way that only a group like them could fathom. However, she will not tolerate them getting in her way. She doesn't feel the need to prove herself like the other two do, and if she wants to take something (stealing is a favorite past time), then she will. Period.
In short, Kannaroth started as the sweetest of the trio, but was the quickest to become jaded.

If you wanna be blunt about it, you can just say Nellath is one scary b***h. When she first hatched, she screamed loud enough to temporarily deafen the audience simply out of spite. She killed not one, but two candidates on the sand in her quest to find Hers and even if she could remember it now, she wouldn't care. They should have moved if they didn't want to get hurt. It's almost like Nellath knew her horrible fate from the beginning and came into the world ready to fight tooth and nail against it.
The best thing about her is her extreme loyalty to her two clutchmates. She and Kannaroth often butt heads, but she would still do anything for both her and Roseth at any time. She'll listen to queens, too, but only because she has to. Nellath hates golds and as far as she's concerned, she will never, ever change her mind about that. The other colors she's not too fond of either, especially not bronzes. By time she's older, the meeker spirits of any color will think twice before crossing this nasty, vicious green.
If given the chance, she'd even bully her own rider. Thankfully, she won't be, because Hers would have had to go out of their way to brave Impressing this green. Among the three clutchmates, she acts as the leader, and she expects Hers to mock this behavior between their riders. The weyrfolk have been known to refer to Nellath as a "wher dragon" because her brute-ish, animalistic behavior matches them more than other dragons. But she is not stupid, just abrasive.

Interested in entering for one of these girls? Just fill on the form below and send it to the mule. Things to know:
- We will be judging by how well you match a rider to one of the dragons, but grammar will also be taken into account. (You don't need to be perfect. Just capitalize.)
- These dragons, IC, are two weeks old.
- You may enter for as many as you like / as many concepts as you like, but you can only win one.
- We reserve the right to not give out the dragons at all if no suitable riders are found.
- These are from Telgar and will be RPed there.
- Dragons can not harm humans, even if they're as mean as these three. (Hatchlings don't know any better prior to Impressing.)
- Read up on Telgar Weyr in the Telgar Weyr and You guide and the Social Structure and You guide and be aware of their practices and traditions. (ex: female riders are often looked down on)
- This is free. If you win, you don't have to pay anything.Rider's Name: Remember, males shorten their names after Impressing. (Kevin would become K'vin.) Rider's Age: Rider's Gender: Rider's Craft and Rank: (Put N/A if they have none.) History: Personality:
Dragon: Which of the three greens?
Why were they chosen? Why did the dragon choose this rider? Answer that here.
Write about how they Impressed their dragon:
