Ok, I have heard that waking up paralyzed is a common side affect after astral projection. When I was little, I used to wake up paralyzed a lot, where the only thing I could control was my eyes. I couldn't even breathe, but I didn't feel the need to breathe, which is a strange feeling. This is beginning to happen to me a lot, it even happened when my cousin and brother were playing video games, I was just watching them until I slowly began to move again. Does this happen to you when you don't even attempt to astral project, and how often does this happen to you?

What you're describing is called sleep paralysis. People have used it as an explanation for alien abductions, incubus/succubus attacks, etc. It happens when you get caught between waking and dreaming. I can't remember it ever happening to me, but it's not just related to astral projection.

Obscurus is right about this one, but I'd like to include some details.
When a person sleeps, the brain temporarily shuts down most of the motor systems in order to prevent accidental harm to oneself. This especially happens in REM sleep, where most vivid dreams occur. REM sleep and the consciousness required for astral projection are on similar brainwave patterns, and so the brain often shuts down the motor skills for that activity, too. (There are some who would argue that astral projection is actually a form of lucid dreaming, but I won't go into that here.)
Sometimes, when you wake up, your brain has not yet re-activated your motor systems, and so you find yourself unable to move. It can be quite startling, but only lasts a minute or so until the brain catches up and you're just fine.
It's really nothing to be freaked out about (though in the moment it's easy to forget that).
As to your question, I've felt heavy before, where my limbs don't want to move, but I've never been unable to do so.

Yeah, I got sleep paralysis when trying to astral project to, and I didn't feel the urge to even breathe. Once you open your mind to projecting, it can come and go at times. I guess you should just be careful about spacing out to avoid getting that paralyzed feeling.

Rarely during sleep paralysis you can also find yourself dreaming although you are awake
