As usual, I'll make this thread now and change the title as I feel appropriate.
It's 11 am my time an the event has begun...Sort of. Yes, way to be punctual Gaia. Way to announce it too. Have you gotten your major failures of your event of the year out of the way.
The shopkeepers are giving out candy...A single Skittle. Yes, we'll keep the sponsorships intact...No matter how little sense they make. Get out there and collect your items and keep us informed of what you think.
Oh, those "Join" buttons still don't work. Gaia may or may not bother to let us know what that particular feature is up. Time will tell.
Oh, and I've made a list for you of the NPCs and which side they're on. If you haven't visted the shops yet, you'll understand when you do...It's rather obvious.
B. O. O.: Ian, Rufus, Josie, Louie (in an arguable even bigger failure to understand vampires than usual), Liam, Ruby, Peyo, Mirai, Devin, Sam, Logan, and Becky.
S. I. N.:Moira, Sasha(what?), Agatha, Vanessa, Natasha, Nicolae, Rina (WHAT?!), Bildeau, Ribateau.
Unknown: Edmund, Carl, Flynn, Julie.
Edmund is dressed up as Batman with no emblems, Carl has both emblems and Flynn and Julie haven't been updated.

I have this AVI as my halloween costume but I am cosplaying as a game character on Halloween or just a ghost with a sheet xD

Well I have no plannings for Gaia but seeing as it also is my birthday.. there are some plannings going on behind my back and although I just wanted to game with my friends Cherrie has decided to hijack my birthday and plan it herself.

The event this year is going to be themed around werewolves. The new EI gives us that much of a hint and its been asked for for about 2 years now. Everyone is sick of vampires and aliens and grombies, ghosts and werewolves are about the only thing that we haven't done to death.
I'll probably switch over to a Halloween themed avatar in the first or second week of October. Plus there will be the gold shop update that we get every Halloween. I look forward to it as I do every year, it's probably one of the few remaining decent gold shop updates we get.
As for real life I doubt I'll be celebrating much. My real life finances are not nearly as vast as my current Gaia resources. I'll probably make a pumpkin pie, toast some seeds, have some apple cider and a good dinner.

Hm... Well.
I shall DEFINITELY be making a pumpkin pie (I LOVE pumpkin pie). And it's Pao-Pao's boyfriend's birthday, so I'll be at a party. For Gaia, I intend to be dressing up my beautiful avi, and dying her hair, and maybe my own.

Here is one that has a reply from a forum assistant but it's mostly more of the same. It seems that I've missed something though...Who is Bruce Hardcastle?

I'm wondering the same thing, Josh... of course, I've never payed particularly close attention to the manga or general storyline of Gaia to begin with. Some research is necessary, for sure.

Bruce HardcastleIn the event you're all not too keen to go look at it, he was one of the sports commentators for Rejected Olympics. He died on October 1st due to potato poisoning. But, this whole [NPC] S.I.N and [NPC] B.O.O thing is rather interesting.

Those lovely Random Item Givers that have you buying hundreds of them just to get one of each item- after way too much work. Honestly, I don't see how those things are worth it. EDIT: Also, after it was mentioned that Bruce had died from Potato inhalation, I recalled one of the "weekly" comics that I'd seen not too long ago that actually concerned that. Here is the comic regarding how he so stupidly died. From the sounds of things on the Gaiapedia, he has a nasty habit of trying to eat damn near anything, so I guess he deserved this one.
