Other Note: If anyone is wondering why I changed the Sailor Scout name, it's because I decided to make the name have more of a space theme like her sphere.

Hobbies:

Baking- Leyna loves the smell of cake rising in the oven. She loves it even more when she is the one that made that cake batter from scratch and put it in the over herself. If something is sweet: a pastry, a donut, bread of any type or cakes, and she can bake it, she will. Her favorite things to cook are layered cakes, but give her a baking recipe and watch her fly around the kitchen happily.

Painting- Her escape is putting a brush to canvas. When she starts with a painting she normally doesn't have anything planned, but people compliment her work once it's completed anyways. Her skills lie in landscapes, but she has been known to paint anything and everything. The only pieces she doesn't like are the ones she plans out ahead of time, so she stopped doing that early on.

Reading- Unbeknownst to anyone except those closest to her, Leyna truly enjoys a good horror story. They excite her imagination like nothing else can. Her favorite author is Edgar Allen Poe. Next is a well written murder mystery, but she does like happy stories at times. The only thing she will never read is a romance.

Jogging- With so much to occupy her time while barely moving, reading and painting not being very active hobbies, Leyna finds a way to be outdoors in the sun, which she loves. She enjoys jogging to keep herself fit and to have the time to think.

Virtues:

Idealistic- The definition of an ideal is a standard of of perfection or excellence. Leyna has ideals for her own life, and she reaches for them with everything she has. Her idea of perfection is making everyone else happy, but also in searching for her own way, and making the world a better place. That, in itself, is her main ideal, is to make the world better one day at a time, one person at a time.

Devoted- Just because Leyna won't trust someone on sight, doesn't mean she won't help someone out. Stepping into the boundary of trust is difficult for Leyna after watching her parent's marriage fall apart. She doesn't want to put herself, or anyone else, through that. However, once someone has earned her trust, she will go beyond loyalty and devote herself to helping them fight for their dreams and beliefs, without sacrificing her own. She is the type of devoted friend that will answer a phone call at three in the morning for a friend needing a shoulder to cry on or for any other reason they might need her, and she will never expect anything in return.

Determined- When given a task, Leyna will see it through to the end no matter what. Whether it be school work, helping a friend, or saving the world she puts a lot of effort into the things she does. She pursues everything she does with a hearty stubbornness once she puts her mind to it, and some of her greatest triumphs come from seeing a task come to fruition or completion and knowing she put everything she had into it.

Honest- Honesty is the best policy in Leyna's mind, even if at times the truth hurts. However, she isn't cruel about being honest. If someone asks for her opinion she'll give it, but she doesn't go out looking for ways to be brutally honest. In fact, unless confronted with an honesty she thinks will really hurt someone like being asked a blatant question, she avoids it. She will be honest about her ethics however, and she never holds back on that, standing by what she believes and living it.

Flaws:

Introverted- Leyna tends to dwell in her own thoughts a lot, and although she has a smile and a friendly word for everyone, it takes a person about two weeks to a month for Leyna to really start opening up and really talking to someone. This may lead someone to believe she's stuck-up, but a warm smile and soft hello usually dispels this myth before it can be spread too far.

Self-conscious- Due to the length of time Leyna spends in her own thoughts, and the time it takes her to open up to peopls, she has a self-esteem issue. After watching the destruction that divorce had on her family, she tends to think people will hurt her if she lets them get too close, which is why few people make it that far. Without trying to hide it Leyna is almost painfully obvious in her insecurities about herself and those around her. She questions her own worth as well.

Perfectionist- The downside to being determined, sometimes her best just isn't good enough. Even when she gives everything she has, there are many times when she critiques herself harshly and instead of accepting everything, even with its flaws, she often times will feel the need to start over with a situation or problem.

Dense- When it comes to the simple things, Leyna tends to let it slide in one ear and out the other. Some people call it selective hearing, but problems, thoughts and actions of the, in Leyna's opinion, less than important kind will go over her head on a regular basis, and she remains oblivious to a lot of things, especially the things she doesn't like.

Physical Description:

Hair: Shoulder length violet hair that waves the most at the tips and are parted to the left. Short bangs stop just above her eyes, and the tips are evenly black. She tends to put some small amounts of spray in it to liven it up and give it volume, but otherwise she keeps it simple.

Eyes: Soft and expressive silver, large and set perfectly distant from each other.

Face: Heart-shaped, with high cheekbones and a medium sized forehead, hidden well by her bangs. Her lips are full and her nose is small. Her ears are covered by her hair.

Body: Athletic. 5'5” and thin. Muscled from being outdoors, but not overly muscled, and tanned.

Fashion: Simple and clean. Typically she can be found in her school uniform, with long socks. She doesn't add many accessories. One set of earrings, small silver stars, and a silver charm bracelet with only two charms on it, a small orb with a ring around it that is similar to Saturn, but is actually a galaxy and a key.

Leyna was her mom's choice of a name. Helaine means light, and she wanted her daughter to have a name of similar meaning. Leyna is an American name meaning "Light". It was also a symbolism of her being the light of her parent's life.

Personality: Very friendly. He's strong, and always has a smile on his face. The only time he's not smiling is when he's fighting with his eldest son, but even then he doesn't really frown, his face just gets very serious. Aden isn't the type to raise his voice, and he always has a laugh and a hug for his daughter. He's the type that has advice and a friendly word for everyone, and because of that many people go to him for help.

Hair: Black, always in a ponytail down to her hips.
Personality: Strict. She's not the open type of person, and a lot of people are wary of talking to her, including her kids. It's not that she doesn't love them, but she has her rules, even if sometimes they seem strange and unnecessary, and she lives by them expecting everyone else to live by them as well. Once you get to know her though, she's really a very open and kind person, sometimes.

Older Brother

Age: 19
Birthday: May 16

Eyes: Grey, not quite as shining as his mother's or sister's.
Hair: Blonde, wavy and worn to his shoulders.
Personality: In his own world. He's not a bad kid, but he's angry about a lot of things, especially about not having a choice of where he would live after the divorce. Due to this, Damek has decided to make a family out of his friends more than his actually family. He almost never speaks while he is home, unless it's to fight with his dad.

Younger Brother
Name: Nathan Wynn
Age: 8
Birthday: January 6
Sign: Capricorn
Eyes: Green
Hair: Black, cropped.
Personality: He's bubbly and has a lot of friends. He rarely sees his siblings though, so he doesn't have much attachment for them. He sees the world like his mother, though, and is very good about following his mother's rules. He's always happy though.

Family Life/History:
Leyna's parents are divorced. When it happened, she was given no choice of who she went to live with. The courts decided she would live with her father and older brother. They have a rather large one-story three bedroom house with two bathrooms and an attic at the top of Highman's Point. Nathan lives with their mother on the other side of town.

Although Damek could really care less about having a relationship with either her or his father and is almost never home prefering to spend his time with friends, Leyna has a wonderful relationship with her father, who works at home as a self-employed architect. Her relationship with her mother isn't nearly as good, however, because even though they hardly see each other, Helaine is very strict with her children and tends to lean towards a borderline nastiness about her rules. Nathan also rarely sees his siblings, so doesn't even think of them as siblings, really.

At home with her father, Leyna has the only pet in the house, a small brown and white hamster named Freak.

Why Meadowview?
As a child, Leyna went to private school. She wasn't very fond of it, but it was her mother's decision at the time. Her parent's constantly fought about that. When Leyna began living with her father after the divorce, he made the decision that she needed to be socialized at a public school. Aden wasn't going to see his daughter grow up sheltered from the entire world and then be unprepared for what she would be going into after school. It made the decision easier moving close to Meadowview as well.

Definitions:
Quasars are quasi-stellar radio sources. They are powerfully energetic distant galaxies with active galactic nuclei that emit radio and electromagnetic waves. In short doses, these waves tend to shut things down, but in large doses can cause serious damage, and even death considering what it is against.

Vela is a part of the Argo Navis constellation based on the ship used by Jason in Greek Mythology, the Argonauts. Vela is the part of the constellation that represents the sails of the ship.

Its nice! and its a cool idea, looks like you have everything done..hmm..

The one thing you might wanna change is the virtues, as there a tad bland. As loyalty and dertination, caring, basic senshi worthy traits. Maybe give her a virtue thats a bit more exciting, or one that describes a fun quirk in her personality. Other then that I absolutely love her and think you've done an epic job! Psst..I KNOWWWS! Wheres she from? Ethnicity, origin, family?

Now that your basic profile and everything else is complete its time to start getting in depth on your character! Her likes and hates perhaps? Maybe a reason why she chooses (or her family chooses-) To send her to that particular school.

If you have a look through the other quests and also the diaries of accepted senshi, you'll see that hobbies need to be expanded on. The hobbies you've listed for Leyna are also rather generic ones (cooking, reading), so you might want to either rethink them or to explain more specifically what parts appeal to her and why. (Just for example, I think reading would need to be narrowed down to what types of books she prefers, and cooking perhaps dropped, as someone has pointed out before that everyone and their dog has cooking as a hobby.)

Up to you, of course, I'm just critting here.

I would also expand more on the virtues and flaws. One or two sentences doesn't really give a good impression of just what makes this virtue/flaw unique about her - people are loyal in different ways, and honest in different ways. How to her friends react to her honesty? Does her sense of honesty ever conflict with her sense of loyalty? You need to get more into the meat of her personality.

You're missing the second attack, still, so I'd like to see what you work out for that.

I like the Power Sphere of Quasars and what you've done with the first attack. I think there are several quests out there for various forms of 'sound' (pitch, and at least one other that I can't remember), but I don't think this is treading on any toes. So yay for new ways of using sound/waves/soundwaves.

All in all, it's a good start and I look forward to seeing you flesh it out some more ^_^

Thank you so much for all of your advice. I've been thinking a lot of the same things about her hobbies, and I have noticed that a lot of people expand on those more, but I'm thinking about maybe changing a couple of things completely.

The virtues and flaws I need to work out more too, I know, and I'm trying to make her seem less generic.

Thank you for your compliment on her first attack, I have put a lot of thought into a second attack but I haven't been able to decide on it yet. I'm glad you think it's not a copy of anything even though its similar to other attacks, I try to make her original as much as I can.
