Album Name: Crash Love
Band Name: AFI [a fire inside]
Genre: Rock / gothic rock
I love AFI (A Fire Inside) and since Leeds Festival, where I saw 'em again and found out they had a new album coming out today I've been twitching and waiting to grab it.
It doesn't dissapoint. AFI are back on top form that's more like the slightly gothy/catchy rock of 'December Underground' rather than their earlier punky stuff. Personally i love that. Every song is charged with energy and this album has the addition of even a choir every now and again, which increases the anthemic quality. It moved form gothic crooning to stomping dancing sing-along music in an instant. Love it biggrin
Albums are difficult to review since you really have to hear it. But the fact that every single song is great in it's own right is testament to the goodness of this album (not many musicians achieve that.)
in short - 9/10!

Youtube - the best song on the album (i think) "too shy to scream"
