jk.

kind of.

well, i've been sloooowly putting on the pounds in the last year.

I'm ALMOST 125 pounds (it drops and rises from 123-124 all the time)
I know it doesn't seem like much, but I'm like 5'2 so it's alot to me.

I'm really planning on exercising a bit / cutting the s**t from my diet.

But it seems like I'm ALWAYS hungry through out the day.

I need a low cal, low cat snack that's good for me too.
Any suggestions ?

and major food groups / items to avoid ?

best exercise method ?

Rice krispie treats are mostly just sugar so they're an okay snack!

Little things help.
If you ever eat pasta, opt for a tomato sauce rather than a creamy. Try to avoid cakes and sweets during the week, but give yourself a nice slice/dessert on the weekend. Try to avoid fatty foods, like burgers, pizza, or anything else that's a bit oily. Portion control is key! Try to eat at least 8, very small meals a day (of course, breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be a bit bigger than the rest. :P) For example, eat breakfast, then snack on a granola bar, or some nuts, or a fruit. Then you can have lunch, then have a few more snacks, etc. This honestly helps your metabolism go. Honestly, if you like healthy food, then you're set.

I know it seems like a while, but I went from 145-120 in two years, by strictly cutting down on meat, fatty foods, and adding lots of tea to my diet. I didn't even exercise (though I have been doing yoga/pilates lately so I can tone my body!) Green tea works wonders, and honestly, to me, it doesn't taste bad. <3 Rice-cakes, popcorn, celery+peanut butter, and berries are nom-able snacks. For breakfast, you can even make a parfait! I eat that quite often; layer your favorite fruit yogurt, then your favorite granola/cereal, then your favorite fruit. I like to make two-three layers of each; I make it in a cup, 'cause that's about the perfect amount. It's SO GOOD, it literally tastes like dessert!

All in all, consider and weigh your options when you eat; make sacrifices if you must, it's not that horrible.

If you're planning to exercise daily, then food isn't really a big deal. :P But if you're too lazy to do much (like me), then focus on getting your health in good shape!

PS: DRINK TONS OF WATER. I can't stress on how amazing water is, man. It clears your skin, and keeps you feeling fresh.

Yeah, just straight up water.
If anything you can chill it a bit with a slice of cucumber inside, or a small spritz of lemon or orange if you want flavor. :3

Cutting soda completely out of your diet will really help.

Dried fruits, cereal bars, fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. are healthier and lower calorie snacks than say a packet of crisps or chocolate.

If you can supplement a small diet change with some small increased exercise (like, walking 15 - 30 minutes a day extra), then you can lose weight pretty quickly.
