Well, what to say about my Integra. This is my first car, and so far I've been very happy with it. It's got around 172,xxx miles on the clock, but it still feels as tight as a drum. It has power windows, power locks, electric sunroof, and surprisingly after 18 years they all work just fine. smile


It's pretty much stock all the way around, stock engine, transmission, wheels, everything. Oh, its also an automatic. Weaksauce? Haha. xd


So that means its on a B18A1 engine, that's supposed to be rated at 130hp @ 6000 rpm. But, given that its been 18 years, I'd assume that I'd be lucky to be left with over 100hp. LOL.

That's all I have to say about it for now really. I don't really have any plans with it for now. It's going to stay my daily driver, nothing too outrageous for it. I'm probably going to work on getting a security system installed, seeing as how popular Integras seem to be among thieves. Paint job is in consideration, but the paint doesnt really bother me.

Still working on fixing up minor stuff with it, get it to look as immaculate as possible. But, that's all for now. biggrin

As far as my adventures with my Integra today:
Today, I decided to reglue the Acura badge onto the front of my hood. Either the previous owner pulled it off, or it fell off, I don't know. All I knew was that this looked pretty retarded and had to be fixed. xp



I had to scratch off all the old gunk and dried glue off of the back of the badge. However, after my bit of scratching the black paint on the back also came off.. Ooops. sweatdrop

So, I pulled out the can of black primer and sprayed it with a new coat.




Then, it was time to use some Krazy Glue! And, voila:




And, yes, I know, the lip on the front bumper is crooked, I need to fix that. xd

I believe that you have to go to


My Gaia > Account Preferences

and then under section Images go to Image Display and select "Show All Images" in the drop down menu.


That should solve the picture woes. smile

Um... what did you pay for it?

And what's with people blocking out their plates? I guess it's because I have a registered vanity plate, I don't mind people knowing it's me if they see it on the road... since that's the point of having a vanity plate.

Aha, someone spotted that. Yes, I do actually, or did. In high school, my best buds were into the table top gaming stuff. So i picked up Warhammer 40k and bought myself some Imperial Guard stuff. I don't have any of them anymore gave them all to my bud that still plays.


I think I still have a Leman Russ somewhere around here. smile



Who knows, when I get some spending money I might pick it back up again, I quite enjoyed painting those things.

My best DnD character was a monk who was also a bit of a drunk.
Then I tried playing a blind Samurai, and how I killed him off, was it turned out he was faking blindness and his master came back to kill him and take his sword back. xp

Anyway, if you got it for $700... I'll let you pass. I'd never roll in an automatic Integra in that shape though. I was kinda spoiled when I started driving in HS (new topline Civic EX xp lame) and college (new topline Accord V6 xp lame)... but even when I was going for my "beaters" the ZX2 and SC2 I bought were in very good shape with low miles (extremely low miles for Haley).

I know that beggars can't be choosers, but I'd beg and save up a little bit more for a car if it were going to be my only one. I'm only assuming it's your only car, because you haven't posted up about any other car. But if it truly was all you could afford, then I take back everything I've said. If it gets you from point A to point B reliably and in decent comfort (be honest, does it?), then it doesn't really matter what I think or would do.


(Part of me feels like being a d**k for saying all this stuff, but I don't mean it in a negative way. I just think you deserve better, don't you?)
