Jessica grew up in a peaceful, quiet suburban town in the western United States. She excelled in the classroom and as a result she moved to New York at the age of 17 to attend Columbia University. There she joined a extra curricular committee whose main objective was to take down Umbrella Corporation. The group gathered information about Umbrella, distributing what they knew to others in the hope of rallying supporters. They also petitioned in front of the headquarters of Umbrella in hopes of tarnishing the corporation's image. A few years later at a convention Jessica met Michael, another anti-umbrella movement member from Harvard and they decided to join forces in the fight against bio-terrorism.
In the spring of 2003, Jessica graduated from Columbia with a bachelor's in International Affairs. Michael and her shortly thereafter moved in together, leasing an apartment in Manhattan. For the next few years they continued to track Umbrella's activities across the world and gathered a case against the corporation. However, one September night Jessica came home to find her fiance, Michael, murdered in their apartment. Fear and rage consumed her as she realized that the evidence they had in the apartment was missing. She gathered what little supplies she needed, taking the desert eagle that belonged to Michael's father and fled the city. She drove to a secure bank in Pennsylvania and took the evidence she and Michael had had in a safety deposit box under fake identities. After a few days in a local motel 6, Jessica was able to compile all the information together in a logistical fashion, then drove to the C.I.A's headquarters in D.C revealing the work she and Michael had been collecting over the past 6 years.
Interested in the evidence they had compiled, Jessica was recruited into an elite branch of the CIA who had been monitoring Umbrella through a partnership with S.T.A.R.S. For the past four years under the name Jessica Dream, Jessica has been on several confidential missions gathering data and evidence against Umbrella. Known to her fellow teammates as "the woman of many faces," she has been to several cities and countries all over the world. In 2007, Jessica was captured by alliances of Umbrella and tortured for 3 weeks. However, using the skills she had acquired over the past few years she was able to escape the confines of her prison and regroup with her team in London.
Still haunted with images of her fiance's death, Jessica has vowed to avenge Michael and use all means necessary to take down Umbrella and all of it's alliances. Today she keeps in no contact with the family or friends of her "normal" life. Instead Jessica Dream consumes her life with rage, with the only intent on finishes the job she is on.
