These grounds seemed so familiar. Somewhere in the back of her mind she recognized this place.
Slowly making her way into the area, feeling the grass beneath her paws and the scents run through her like a long-last memory. Taking in a deep breath, Kaikara's ears lowered to pin against her skull...and she seated herself just outside the tall grass.
Staring up towards the darkening sky, the kitten flicked her tail against the ground before curling it around her rear and legs. Something had brought her here, and she couldn't quite put her finger on why she had. But something was missing, someone...more than one person.
Frowning, she felt a pang of anger rush through her--not at the ones she was missing, but at the ones who took her away. Growling a bit, Kaikara lowered down to her belly and crossed her paws in front of her face, one covering her nose while her other propped up her chin.
Flicking her ears forward once more, her eyes scanned the reddening horizon, shadows casting over the area and over her tiny form. She was finally free...and now she didn't know what to do with herself.

Kieran had stepped out of the Mansion and was wandering around the park. Tonight he had planned a family reunion, it was needed… they were scattered so unevenly, and he missed his children. Valiant was bringing Ishtar, more then likely in a muzzle and leash, Raina… Mir was to bring Morph, hopefully someone would pull Hermies off of Belle… Nyx was already inside with Percy. The male teared up a bit, someone was still missing, and he wished desperately she were not. Kieran’s gaze shifted to the sky as he ran a hand through his hair, it was hard for him… she was another one of his baby girls. Old fashioned in thinking Kieran took her disappearance very personally. “I hope she is found, or can find her way home.” He mumbled to the starry sky, rubbing his eyes lightly.

Valiant was shivering slightly in the night wind, her own jacket wrapped around her daughter who clutched at her hand wearily. Raina hadn’t been out of the forest since her birth and kidnapping, well at least to her parents knowledge so Val was quite a bit cautious. Periodically the Manx looked behind her to make sure that her sulky little boy was following. Not even she had been able to convince him to come, it was Raina, telling him about how hard it had been being away from the people that loved her, and how much it must hurt everyone not to see him as well that eventually convinced him.

Aidan ran up the street and through the park searching for the turn that would lead him to the mansion. It was only right that he be there… he was after all Keiran’s twin. Lingering just by the turn he spotted… spots.
“Hello?” he called unsure. The person had looked like Percy but… who knew here.

Persy wrung her hands nervously as she paced up and down her the area of the mansion that her and her family shared. She had spent most of the day catching and preparing a meal big enough for their guests who were arriving with help from Nyx. She had spent all day preparing the meal, wanting to make sure everything was perfect for her children and their now families. She had even prepared an amazing table setting, making the place look fantastic. It had helped her relax as her and Nyx created it. But now everything was prepared and it was almost time for them all to arrive so the red haired female could no longer contain her nervousness and started pacing up and down.
Nyx watched her mother with worried eyes. She knew how much this meant to her. Her mother had always felt horrid for what had happened to her kittens and Nyx knew that a lot of the reason why her family ended up the way it did was because of her. She sighed inwardly and sat there patiently waiting. She had dressed up for the occasion, her mother wanting everyone to look their best. The white kitten knew that Persy was banking so much of her hopes on this but that there would still be something missing. Another kitten that had never returned to her. The others had left her but this kitten, she had never returned in the first place. Nyx knew that this had always left a hole in her mothers heart that couldn't be filled until she knew what happened to that kitten.

Mir had left her tent in the Plaza earlier that evening to collect Morph for the reunion and say hello to Ara. She had the usual cream button down shirt she wore open tonight, showing a white tank top underneath, and her hands were stuffed in to the pocket of the black cargo pants she always wore now, having finally gotten fed up with not having any pockets. She knew how important this was for Morph, finally having the family all together again after so long, even if only for one night. She smiled a little; proud of him for going out and finding Hermes and then the lost sister, Kaikara, even if that was by happenstance.
Morph chewed a mint leaf nervously. It was sort of becoming a habit, but it was healthier than catnip, and he was already exposed to that particular plant enough already. He hugged Ara goodbye and made his way down to the river near their tree. This was one of the last days they were going to be living in the tree and he and Ara had been very busy; packing things up and making sure all the add-ons were in a fit state to be left as is. He crossed his arms over his chest, sighing quietly and looking into the water. Twitching a lightly colored sandy ear over to the left, he heard another cat padding over to him and turned, smiling a little as Mir walked over to him.
“You ready to go, kid?” The slightly darker female asked him. They were about eye to eye now, even though Mir was a few years older than Morph. Giving Morph a hug, Mir said “Always good to see you.” Before turning and moving back up the river to the Mansion. Morph fell into step behind her, neither of them speaking but just enjoying the quiet companionship, listening to the river burble next to them. Mir felt a little nostalgia, remembering all the walks they used to take when Morph was still directly under her care. He still was her little brother in her eyes, and she would go to any lengths if he was in trouble, just as she would have when he was a kit. Turning around and walking backwards, Mir felt a rush of affection and smiled at him, her eyes twinkling. “Race you there.” She grinned, taking her heads out of her pockets. “You know you’d win.” He grinned back, darting ahead of her anyways. Smirking, Mir followed.

She heard people coming--well, not people, but others of her kind. Twisting one of her ears around, she sunk lower into the ground, growling lowly in her chest when they grew closer--then stopped.
Was it Kaikara that they were greeting? Not quite greeting it seemed, moreso worriedly asking if someone else was there.
"What?" She announced, not wanting to get in trouble if she didn't respond and they found her anyway. Slowly, she brought herself to her feet, and looked towards the intruding tom. This wasn't her territory of course, but she was going to be protective of the three feet of land around her small frame. Only reason she was like this was because she had grown up in a home where she needed to protect herself from the ones who were supposed to take care of her.
Kaikara's expression contorted slightly when she noticed the man...familiar but not. Reminded her of Morph slightly, but the features weren't the same.
"I'm sorry," she said, obviously not meaning it, "Am I in your way?" She scoffed, beginning to step away from the male, flicking her tail as she turned her back to him. What a cocky girl she was.

Hermes made his way slowly to the mansion that his parents live in. His head swirling with thoughts, nervousness and anxiety biting at him viciously. Morph and found him a few days ago and told him about the family reunion. Seeing Morph had made Hermes happy. Out of all his siblings Morph was the closest to him. However little that may be. His brother had also given him a message. A small parchement with swirly writting. His mother's writing.
The red head wasn't sure what to think of it. He had read it and reread it many a time. The paper was worn and very creased now. He squeezed it in his hand for comfort. He was torn between seeing his family again, and hating them for abandoning him. As the sky was slowing painted an orange yellow, the young cat found himself on the leafy path to his parent's home.
"They left me. Why should I see them? I miss them. They abandoned me. They didn't mean to. If only I had spoken more. Been more persistant about staying with them. I'm a bother. They didn't want me." Hermes felt so ashamed at some of those thoughts but he couldn't help himself. He was alone for so long. Never really able to get to know anyone for long until recently. "They forgot I existed." That thought hurted him the most. His heart winced, he stopped and took a deep breath to calm himself before he continued on his way. He tried not to think about anything as the glows of light from the mansion started to appear.

Morph and Mir raced each other over the leaf strewn paths, moving towards the Mansion. Mir was going a little slower than she could have, preferring to jock for position with Morph, though she had to admit he was getting fitter. Putting on a little burst of speed and shoving him playfully as she passed, she moved again to the lead. Morph smirked and swiped at her tail, knowing she was going easy on him. He didn’t care; preferring the adrenaline and endorphins to distract him from what they were steadily racing towards. Staying in the here and now was easiest when he had a lot on his mind to think about.
Smirking, Morph cut though a group of trees, heading towards a path running somewhat parallel to theirs, the two paths eventually combining further down the way. “Oi!” Mir called cheerfully, darting after him. The mansion was in sight now; its lights getting steadily larger. Through the rush of green brown and the blur of red, orange and yellow he caught a glimpse of sandy fur and a rather vibrant blue shirt. Attempting to stop suddenly, Morph slipped on a pile of leaves, red and brown flying everywhere as he landed on his back. Mir leaped over him, landing on her hands and rolling up, turning to face him and smirking. “Well that was graceful, Morpheus.” She ribbed, before noticing his expression and the direction he was looking. Looking over to where he was staring, Mir saw red hair and a blue shirt, very out of place in all the autumn colors.
“Well I’ll be…” She murmured, recognizing the darkest of Morph’s brothers from so long ago. Looking over from where he had propped himself up on his hands, Morph stared over at Hermes, who was walking along a different path. Excitement and nervousness flared though him, but mostly delight; that he had decided to come after all. “HEY! HERMES!” He shouted over at his brother.

Hermes jumped at the shout. His heart pounded madly against his rib cage until he spotted the hippy cat in the trees, as well as another cat... He let out a sigh of relief, forced a nervous smile and waved. A small side of him wanted to laugh and join his brother in the leaves and play, but caution was a prority tonight. The other cat looked so familiar... Rubbing his hair he shrugged the thought aside. He'd find out soon enough.
The red head started to jog towards the two. He tried to relax himself and kept the smile up as he neared. "Morph" he said, in as cheerful a tone as he could muster. He nodded his head to the female cat with weary eyes. "Hello " he greeted stranger. The leaves were all over the place, he itched to run and play in it. To see the leaves fly around like the fire birds he'd see in pictures.
"Did you just get here?" he asked, rubbing his arm, trying not to be awkward.

Morph smiled up at his younger brother. Seeing Hermes there seemed to be relieving a lot of nervous tension in the pit of Morph’s stomach. He felt less anxious about the coming gathering, knowing that at least one of the people he had reached out to would be there. Grinning up at Hermes, not bothering to pick himself up yet, he replied to his younger brother. “Yeah, we were heading over there now.” He beamed, unable to keep from smiling at all. “It’s great to see you again, Hermes.”
Mir smiled gently, letting Morph gush over seeing his brother again. She caught Hermes’s uncomfortable look towards her and decided to wait a moment before speaking. “It’s good to see you again, Hermes. You probably don’t remember me, do you?” Mir smiled a little more, knowing he most likely wouldn’t recall much of his early childhood. “I remember watching you grow up when you were just a wee thing.” She said, smiling gently. “My name is Mirelle, and for all intents and purposes, I’m Morpheus’s big sister. I’m so glad Morph was able to find you, and that you decided to come back. Your mother will be so glad to have you back.”
Morph looked over at Mir as she spoke, then back at Hermes, grinning. Seeing a slight nervousness in his brother’s eyes, Morph quietly scooped up a hand full of leaves, tossing it up at his brother’s face. “I have a lot of catching up to do with you, so you better not disappear again, you hear me?” He said in mock sternness; the effect somewhat ruined by the leaves in his long hair.

Hermes couldn't help but smile at the warm welcome, "It's good to see you too Morph." He had fixed feelings about what Mirelle said to him though, "I'm glad Morph found me too" honestly happy that his brother had come, not so sure about the rest. "Now I'll know someone who can tell me all my big brother's secrets" chuckled the red head, his person losing some of the anxiety that he is shouldering.
Next thing he knew a ball of leaves were exploding around him. He quickly made his own bomb of leaves and propelled it towards his brother, aiming for a head shot. "I'll have to stick around if I want to hear all the things you've been up to!" he said in reply, voice getting louder and excited. He then prepared to launch himself at his hippy brother, as if he had been doing this all his life.

Aidan simply stared and let a slow grin tilt the side of his lips. This had to be the missing kitten, he was sure of it. She was still the little cocky b***h she had been since birth when she had latched onto his hand when he held her. Rolling his eyes he stepped forward.
"No your not in my way, but only because I know you. And I know your father, quite well in fact." Aidan peeked over his shoulder as though his name was called.
"You don't recongnise me do you?"
Kerian stood by the pond tossing rocks into the shaddowy depths and looking around him. He could have sworn he had seen Aidan at a distance, but really who knew anymore. Perhaps he was getting senile. Seeing things did sort of come in the family. He would investigate, not now but soon.
Valiant made out the smaller cat in the distance, more then likely long before the other had spotted her. Mirelle, her old friend. Silently she crossed through the billowing leaves, holding Raina's hand and resting her other on her stomach. It wasn't that visible yet, but she was sure she was pregnant with the mysterious cats children. With a slight tremor she reached out and touched Mir's shoulder, barely brushing across her shoulders as she stepped around her, Raina trailing after her in hope of trying to figure out who this strange woman was that her mother was so attuned to. "Mir its been awhile."
Raina finally looked over to Morph and grinned broadly. "My prince!" She exclaimed joyously before standing up on her tippy toes and kissing his cheek. "he saved me from the evil tree people." She grinned, simply saying it to say it, not to anyone in particular.
Ishtar stared at his two brothers, Raina's joy at seeing Morph, and Val with Mir. Oh how pathetic this evening was already becoming. "Its ludicrous isn't it, this evening in general. Its like they want to ******** with our feelings more then they have already. Nothing they do is for us, its all for their happy since of ******** peace, and there's not a goddamn thing we can do about it."
Raina stared at Ishtar for a few beats before turning back to Morph. "He's just mad he got pulled away from bossing people around. I had to drag him here. So until he stops being pissy just ignore him."

She glowered at the strange male, hearing new voices all over the place. Bristling, she couldn't help but frown when they...all smelled familiar.
Well, most of them.
"Remember you?" She muttered, huffing a bit under her breath. "You know my dad?" This made her tone raise a pitch or two. Obviously, Kaikara was interested, but...but he couldn't could he?
Then the scent of Morph crossed her, and she snapped her head in the direction that it came from. That tom she knew, this one in front of her...well, now that she thought about it, he looked somewhat similar to Morph...what was this?
"How do you know my father? Who are you?" Turning to face him, she planted her feet to the ground, just in case he turned out to be dangerous.

All of your siblings will be there… Morph, Ishtar … and his extended company, nyx, hermies, your mother… all we need is you.” The Siberian shrugged again, as though he didn’t really care if she came or went.
He turned his head, seeing his brother in a distance. “how much do you want to know your father? I’m sure he is dying to meet you. Poor guy couldn’t sleep for three weeks after your siblings were found.”
Kieran bristled, not really knowing why. The party must be well underway by now, but for some reason… he felt like he was needed. The male started wandering closer to his brother, almost by accident, only making out the other red head’s back.
“Aidan your late what’s wrong?!”

So this man knew who she was. How strange.
The mention of her father made her ears lower, and she jumped slightly when she heard the said man's voice come from behind the man in front of him. Looking Aidan over without much thought, her tail flicked, and she took a step to the side to get a better look at her 'father'.
"You're not lying to me?" Was this man messing with her? She didn't want to wander up to this strange man and it end up not being her father. That'd just be odd. She couldn't manage to keep up her rough and tumble exterior with this sort of thing going on...so she sighed and shrugged a bit, moving to step past the man with a final look up at his face. She was confused, lost--it was an odd feeling, to say in the least.
This man that he claimed to be her 'father' was close, and stepping closer. Her throat felt like it was closing up, her arms crossed over her stomach in a self-conscious manner--definitely not the 'outfit' she had planned to meet her family in. "..." Staring the man in the face, her ears still low, she waited, not sure how he'd react to her--she could speak, not trusting her words.
