In Hillworth Dorms, your food was typically made for you. You didn't 'eat out'. You didn't order any deliveries. And also, most food baking equipment was prohibited, (a few pyros had seen to that rule's implementation.). So, the Xanis brother's tradition of making pizza every Wednesday night was under a bit of stress. It meant that Marlo's classic Italian style pizza was a bit out of the question. Or so it would seem.
The brothers, (well, Marlo really) had managed to get school permission, (only after a bit of family bribery too) to use the cafeteria on Wednesday nights, so long as they were supervised. They had to bring their own food, but, other then that, they could keep up with tradition. And so, taking time out, they two were at the grocery store looking for as Marlo put it, 'the most choice of ingredients'. And Elzo...well, he was busy trying to sneak bags of sweets into the cart.
"Marlo what about these?" "No." "How about these chocolate peanuts?" "No." "How about-" "No." Like another no was going to stop Elzo.

With a plastic tray of baklava in one hand, and a basket with a box of pink cupcakes lining the bottom, Pierrette happily strolled to the candy and baking aisle.
Well, she was SOMEWHAT happy, anyway. The reason she was in that aisle in the first place was because she needed to get ingredients to make a new dessert... after she botched her rice krispy treat recipe and ended up with marshmallow fluff decorating her hair instead of her usual bows or headbands.
So, three hair-washings later, Pierrette found herself in this aisle. The same aisle, coincidentally, that Marlo had turned his cart into-- Elzo weaseling behind him.
"I wouldn't recommend the chocolate-covered peanuts here, anyway," Pierrette piped up, "If you want chocolate-covered peanuts, you should go to the corner market down the street."

Turning around, Elzo considered the girl's comment. She seemed nice. She seemed single. AWESOME. Maybe she could even convince Marlo to buy some sugary things! "Really? I'm just trying to get my sour faced bro here to buy some candy. He's all 'No, it's not healthy' and stuff." Marlo didn't even bother looking at Elzo and the girl, to mindful of picking out the best flour for pizza dough.
"SEE? He's just going to like, dis it. Got any recommendations? Seriously. I'm like, craving something sweet. And it's gotta be something this a*****e will like." Marlo fiddled with a small package of whole wheat flour. "Not sour. Sweet but not covered in sugar." Like he would tell them what he liked. Besides, he was supposed to be cooking a dinner, not buying some...dessert.

The short girl closed her eyes, treating the questions as a challenge.
"Sweet, but not too sweet... somewhat healthy, but fun, too..." Pierrette held a finger to her chin and concentrated, tilting her head from side to side as her curls bounced.
She opened up her eyes and looked over at Marlo. Sheepishly she stepped to him and looked at the whole wheat flour.
"What is it that you're making with this?" she asked, "I'd like to know, so I can give you the best dessert."
Her sheepish expression broke into an embarrassed smile as she looked from the disinterested brother to the over-enthusiastic one.
"I like to think of myself as a gourmet, though I'm still learning a lot about cooking."

"..." Marlo regarded the girl's bubbly nature for a few moments. She couldn't possibly be more annoying the his brother. "I'm making pizza actually. For a dinner. No time for actual baking." He went to reading the nutrition facts. "Not that we can bake for fun at Hillworth anyway." Elzo sucked in breath as Marlo mentioned their school so nonchalantly. It was the worst thing to do! So many chick avoided Elzo just because of it! God, damn Marlo and his lack of a sex drive! Damn him to the level of hell were guys were castrated! It would only be too fitting!
"....What my brother means to say is that we aren't into baking sweets. More casual foodstuffs. I'm looking for something pre-made and easy to smuggle into the dorm rooms. They don't really like us having food. Can attract bugs and stuff." Hello foot, meet Mr. Mouth. You will now be getting acquainted intimately.

"Oh, you two are staying at Hillworth?" Pierrette's 'bubbly disposition' didn't fade, she was obviously new in town... well, if her accent didn't give that away.
"I don't know that much about the school, but I've heard that it is very strict. You are lucky to be able to make pizza," she mused.
Relax, Elzo, it looked like she was new enough to have no idea about the school's reputation.
She took a step back from the two of them and thought: "Well, if you wanted something healthier and delicious, I would recommend baklava. However, since it has honey in it, it will be sticky and difficult to conceal."
She bit her knuckle, obviously thinking. She took her desserts very seriously, it seemed.
"I know! It isn't pre-made, but it requires no baking! Two cups peanut butter, one cup honey, and two cups powdered milk. It's healthy in small amounts, and easily storable!"

"Baklava?" Elzo's face scrunched, trying to figure out what the hell that was. And...it had honey? That stuff was only good for tea. And Elzo didn't like tea. It was so bitter unless you added globs of sugar. At Pierrette pondered, Elzo felt a bit relieved. She didn't seem put off by the fact they went to Hillworth. (SCORE!) To bad she seemed a bit...well...she seemed like something that was for sure! Eh, if she could help him get some sweets into the dorms, he'd like her well enough!
Her second suggestion made Marlo turn to face her and raise a brow. "So...in other words sugary peanut butter." He turned back and pulled down a diffrent flour, inspecting it. "Peanut butter is disgusting, not matter what it goes with." Elzo felt like strangling Marlo. Could be be positive just for once? Internally, Marlo was laughing. It was a bit funny making Elzo suffer.

"Oh!" The two shots from the two boys hit Pierrette in the chest like two volleyballs. How awkward, she had just given her opinion. Even her corkscrew of a ponytail seemed to droop as she turned around and looked at the other aisle, trying to find something to distract herself with until she could make a graceful exit.
"I happen to like peanut butter," she said in short, snippy words. They weren't snippy because she was mad or offended, just because she didn't want to say anything else that might upset them (and, consequently, make them say more mean things). She picked up a bag of peanut butter chips and glanced down at them, her lips puckering into a pout.
"I guess the best advice I could give you, then, is to get some cookies and put them in a plastic tin. That way, they're small and compact, and can be hidden easily."
She drooped her head about another inch, "And you can choose the flavor you like that way."

One look at her upset face twisted Elzo's heartstrings. He just couldn't help it. He just couldn't stand to see a girl get sad. Especially over what his brother said. Glaring at his brother, Elzo crossed his arms and looked at her, face determined. "******** Marlo! He's just got a stick up his a**! Common! We'll find something! And you know what! He'll just be outta luck." Marlo shrugged. Turning around however, he felt a bit...well. Bad.
He didn't mean to hurt the girl's feelings...just...piss of Elzo. "...Cookies are only good if you make them by hand." He hid his face behind the flour, pretending to read it. "...If it helps, I throughly enjoy chocolate. Dark."

Pierrette felt winded just from hearing the colorful English words coming out of Elzo's mouth. Still, she smiled gratefully and mouthed 'thank you' to him.
"Wait, you like dark chocolate?" Pierrette suddenly straightened up and clenched her fists with all the determination of a kitten fighting its own shadow.
"I saw something you might like! Come on, Mister, let's go this way!" she grabbed Elzo by the arm and started to drag him down the aisle, headed towards the bakery section of the grocery store.

Watching the girl seemed to pick up her mood, Marlo bagged the flour in hand, figuring it best. Elzo, being dragged along, was a bit shocked to say the least. Some tiny chick was almost literally dragging him down the isle! Wait. That came out wrong. Shaking his head at perverted thoughts, (she's younger! Too young! Stupid hormones!), Elzo just went with the girl. No bother to fight fate right? "It's not Mister! It's Elzo! Now, where we going?"
Rolling his eyes at his brother's willingness to indulge the girl's whims, Marlo followed behind them, half amused and half curious. he was quite picky when it came to sweets. If she could find something pleasing...huh. Who could say? Perhaps she had a taste for the elegant sweets.

"I am Pierrette!" the small girl called back to Elzo as she continued to dash across the store, "And we're going to the bakery!"
She planted her heels in the tile and skidded to a stop in front of a glass counter. Hidden inside the counter were rows upon rows of cakes: from cupcakes to tarts to birthday cakes with little clowns and puppies on top. However, that isn't what Pierrette went to. There was a rotating shelf that showed the best cakes-- some of them even decorated in Crystal Academy's colors. Pierrette stooped down and put her hand on the glass, practically drooling at one of the cakes that rotated and glistened under the light bulb.
"This... is a Black Forest Cake," she crooned, "Layers upon layers of dark chocolate with cut cherries in it..."
What a cake it was. Thick, dark frosting was elegantly swept down the side in intricate waves, looking more like the side of a gazebo than a cake. On top, red cherry syrup formed pretty swirls surrounding flowers made with chocolate petals and a cherry stuck in each one.
"This... is a real cake."

"Oh. My. GOD." Elzo was drolling. This was like...the GOD of cakes. The KING o cakes. It was perfection. Oh...he could just imagine the delicious chocolate melting in his mouth. It was the kind of cake you needed a tall glass of milk with. It would be that good.
"And how might I ask, would we sneak that into the dorms?" Marlo's voice cut into the air like a bucket of ice. But, he was right. Such a cake would get found easy, not to mention it would attract bugs and dorm mates, (which were only a step above bugs in terms of annoyance).
"WE COULD JUST EAT IT HEEEERRRRREEEE." Elzo whined like a small child, making Marlo flinch. Really, sometimes, he couldn't act his age.

Pierrette drooped again, but this time it didn't appear as drastic.
"He's right," she explained, "There's no way you could hide something like that. It would be doing a disservice to the cake, too! It's so pretty..." Pierrette ignored her fingerprints as she put her other hand on the glass.
"And if you ate it here, it just wouldn't be as much fun. You wouldn't be able to laugh with friends and relax in the comfort of your room, right? If you ate the whole thing at once, wouldn't you get sick, too?"
Pierrette shook her head, "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking. Maybe I should think of something else... but your situation is difficult..."

"Small. Chocolate. Easy to sneak in and possibly store for later snacking." Marlo spoke with a clam air. He didn't feel the need to overreact. Elzo on the other hand, was beginning to act more and more childish as time drew on, somewhat pouting as Marlo laid out the candy requirements. It was becoming obvious just how much he wanted something sweet to satisfy him. "Marlooooo." Elzo grabbed a nearby four person cake, to which Marlo sneered. He had already disapproved of a cake, so why Elzo offered another one up was beyond him. "MARLO~!" Elzo shoved the cake at him again, as if it would get a better reaction. Nope, just a more angry sneer of contempt.
"Miss Pierrette, do you have any other suggestions?" Marlo ignored Elzo's groan.
