How come they don't have someone playing Peeves? He was the funniest brat in all the books. That's depressing that they don't have a horrible yet hilarious character in the movie!

Waah ..he he Harry Potter on a budget lol , but back to my crying cuz I always thought of someone really funny doing Peeves. In fact I was going to audition for Peeves but they didn't even have him as a Cast member. I was so mad!

Animemoon i actually auditioned for Luna Lovegood, but i didn't make it crying Aaww believe me trying to be an extra was killer. I remember the one audition I made was for Bring it On . I was a Clover who did most of the stunts and jumps.

I think the biggest reason why Peeves is left out of the movies is that he's pretty unnecessary from a plot perspective. Even in the books, he's only there for convenience in the story line, and for comic relief. If the film makers had more time on their hands, he would be easier to include. As it is, they're already leaving importants bits out of the movies.

Peeves would probably cost too much in computer animation. Since they have to have the ghosts and Voldemort, and the key computer animated things, they probably cut him out to save money.

I was very dissapointed in the first movie when I noticed a lack of Peeves. I knew that if he wasn't in the first one, he wasn't going to be in any of the other ones. crying

It was certainly disappointing, but I expected he'd be cut out anyway. I mean, he could've had a 30 second appearance but to the director it simply wasn't the money and effort.

Well I think that Peeves should be in them. It was always him that helped get Harry into trouble. (Or out of it in the secound book.)

I was mad... Peeves plays a big part. And why don't they barely have any ghosts? The only ghost that I can think of is Nearly Headless Nick, played by someone from Monty Python (forget his name). But they should at least have Peeves or the Bloody Baron. Oh yeah, they have Myrtle too. redface

They had a lot of Peeves in the first movie and a big name actor to play him that i cant think of right now. But it all ended up on the cutting room floor. I think the bigger question is What didi they do with Molly in the last movie, she wasnt even scripted in
