Route 1
Route One marks the beginning of most trainers Pokemon Journey, primarily because many trainers choose to walk throughout their journey as soon as they get their Pokemon. The path is about a mile. It is typical to see a PokeMart Employee handing out free samples of Potions to advertise the PokeMart. Only one Potion per trainer is granted however. Pallets Forests surround the route up until a clearing which becomes Viridian City.
