Hey guys! I start with apologizing if my english is incorrect in some way.
I got a question for you, how often do you meditate? And how do you do it - do you "have it in you" and feel this meditative feeling while watching the trees or making the dishes or do you sit down in the lotus-position and mumble mantras?
I can start answering: Some periods of my life I'm almost always in some kind of meditative position and never hook up on thoughts and such. But sometimes I just need that "sittingdowninsilence"-meditation and since I'm a meditationholder (or is it called leader?) for a group I meditate several times a month. smile
With warmth, Aurora

I don't meditate as often as I'd like, but I find myself getting caught up in other things.

What is stopping you for doing it as often as you'd like to?

miaurora What is stopping you for doing it as often as you'd like to? Mostly laziness with a little bit of other interests thrown in there.

I meditate, usually, every night. It's not the best time, but the only time I have till summer, that's also when I practice energy working, chakra cleansing, and astral projection.

I often feel that I am too busy to meditate, yet I procrastinate on most of my obligations. I might set a new alarm on my cell phone...one to take my daily pill, one to meditate. Can't hurt.

Right now I only have time to meditate once a week. Though when it slows down, I'll go back to once a day...I hope anyways.

I can't do the sit down meditation type. sweatdrop A friend once tried it with me...I would fidget without even realizing it, and it wound up being a huge distraction for her. sweatdrop Instead, being on or near the water helps me meditate, taking long walks through heavily wooded areas with no other humans around, or when I'm going for a long run. Which I haven't been able to do in two years thanks to two separate knee surgeries, but I can finally start working towards again. Whenever I'm moving and/or near water/the wilderness is really the only time I can 'meditate' or find a place that is equal to it mentally.
As such...I tend to find that meditative feeling every time I take a shower, so at least once a day...sometimes twice if I'm particularly stressed or feeling unwell. XDDD

I don't know how to meditate. I'd google it but my mom would see it in the history and label me a creep. She did that a few times before and would probably do it again.
