So Ducky was thinking, there have been quite a few Californians and a couple Washingtonites, that have told me they want to go to the MiniCon, but can't make it all the way to the midwest.

At first, I wasn't so keen on this thought, cause I didn't wanna give people a reason not to come to the main con. But there's a lot of you out west, and chances are, you'll never get to the MiniCon, if it never comes to you.

Obviously, I can't go, but since I organized the original, I'll try to do some long distance planning. 3nodding The main issue, with starting this, is a host. We'd need someone out west, preferably in California, to volunteer to host it. I can handle most of the work, but someone needs to step up and have it in (or near) their place. If that happens, all you western Xenites can have all the fun we're having out here in the northern midwest (almost whee ).

So, if this got organized, who would be interested in going?
And most importantly, DOES ANYONE WANNA HOST THE FIRST WEST COAST MINICON?

One more person PMed me and said she'd go, but she can't host.

We've got enough people, now if we could just find a host. Do you guys know of anyone else in the guild, who's from the west coast?

Oh and if you guys have Xenite friends who aren't in the guild or even on Gaia, go ahead and invite them. 3nodding

Okay, we have 6 people who wanna go, so far. And I just sent PM's to two other west coast Xenites, plus I have a Xenite friend in L.A. who'd probably wanna come. We definitely have enough people. We just need someone to host it. gonk
The host doesn't even have to have it at their house. They could just find a place near their house. And as long as I do most of the planning the host won't have to do much more than anyone else.

My older sister just moved to Long Beach, so I'll go too, but obviously can't host.
