It's ok it's been a busy week for me as well. Sometimes I really just don't feel like going through all the hassels of school.
Let me see where we were.

I hear you...school and work are just one big blur for me most of the time. I'm surprised I haven't gone crazy by now.

Ok. I found where we were. We were at the place where Korihor was teaching false doctrines to the people of Zarahemla and they believed him and he led the people of Zarahemla to sin.
Now after spreading his false teachings in Zarahemla, Korihor attempted to preach the same things among the people in Jershon and Gideon. Unlike the people in Zarahemla, however, these people provided good examples of how we should respond when we are confronted by people like Korihor.
What are some ways that you can think of to help us to protect ourselves against Modern day Korihor's?

Well, the best thing to do is ignore them. They have absolutely no interest in hearing your views and opinions on the matter, no willingness to engage in a thoughtful, intellectual conversation about the ideas they're postulating. The only thing they want is to aggrandize as many followers as they can, to try to turn as many as possible from the path of righteousness. They're like the people in the great and spacious building who mocked those making their way toward the tree of life. So just let their sophistry fall on deaf ears. We've got much more important things to worry about than to have to take into consideration every glib philosophy that comes our way.
Oh, and also, go to church, read your scriptures, say your prayers.

Very true. But there may be a time that you hear the words and believe part of what it says (just maybe) and then be confused, but you should continue to seek your answer for yourself. You should be wise about what you accept as truths, and know the truth, Bear personal testimony, Seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost, Teach the truth from the prophets and the scriptures. Now we will discuss these characteristics.
1.) How can we be wise and use discernment in similar situations? 2.) How does obeying our Church leaders actually help make us free rather than bring us into bondage, as Korihor claimed? 3.) How can knowing the truth help us when we are confronted with false teachings? 4.) How did Alma respond to Korihor’s claim that there is no God? 5.)How are we blessed when we bear testimony of Jesus Christ?

1. Listen to the Holy Ghost. We can't rely on our own wisdom, we have to be open to revelation in order to truly understand anything.
2. It makes us free because they things they teach us and tell us to do are means to bring about our own emotional and spiritual freedom, instead of having our spirits and senses dulled and confined by being trapped by sinful habits.
3. It can help us because there won't be any confusion, any ambivalence. We know that what we know is true, therefore if we encounter anything at variance with this truth, it is automatically suspect.
4. He responded with a beautiful, eloquent discourse on how everything, even the laws of nature, are evidence of a Supreme Being, and bore his own testimony on the subject.
5. We are blessed because sharing our testimony helps strengthen it as we verbalise our convictions.

very good. (i'm giving multiple questions at a time, due to the time.)
1.) How can we discern between true and false teachings? 2.) When Korihor asked for a sign of God’s existence, what signs did Alma put forth as evidence that God lives? 3.) How have these evidences helped strengthen your faith? 4.) Even after Alma’s testimony, Korihor continued to demand to be shown a sign. What sign did Korihor receive? 5.) After Korihor acknowledged that he had been deceived, what did he say was the reason he had followed the devil? 6.) What finally happened to Korihor? 7.)What does this account teach us about the fate of those who pervert the ways of the Lord?
