>Sel walked through the dense wood. It was a very sunny day, perfect for hiding in the shadows. She glared at the shards of sunlight that hit the undergrowth. She hated the sun.
>Linnie was lying down beside some bushes in the woods. Thinking about rock, and what to do…
>Selena enjoyed the feeling and sounds the woods provided for her this day. She was in a particularly dense part of the forest so she was safe from the blaze of the sun. She hummed her mother's lullaby to herself as she continued to venture through the wood.
She coat provided great protection from the eyes of other Soquili.
>Linnie had been laying there since the day of Brian almost going off the waterfall. She didn't understand why Selena didn't show him her full self in the first place. She didn't understand anything. And herself finding out that Rock loved someone, made her heart ache.
>Selena frowned. Her mother's old song was not helping. Her heart ached with her current situation and how far Brian was going to avoid her. It made her miserable. More sad than he could imagine. She truly cared for him as a friend. She did not want him to be angry at her. The only reason she did not show him, was because she did not trust many, if any. She did not just assume they would become friends. She was hiding herself, trying to hide from being hurt even more. Well that plan backfired. She sighed and looked at the ground warily. She just end it all.....NO! She yelled. She had Sui, she had so many things in this life to look forward to, she could not kill herself. It would be pointless. She would figure this out.
>Linnie had been thinking and wondering the same thing Sel had been. She finally got up after weeks of laying in the same spot and wondered around. "Sel?"She called out wanting to talk to the mare.
>Sel's eyes widened. It was a familiar voice. She did not expect someone to be nearby. She had been so careless with yelling in a forest. She gritted her teeth and flicked her ears around, trying to hear more. "Yes....?"
>"can we talk?” She flicked her tail and followed the voice.” Its linnie." She sighed thinking of what to talk about.
>Sel's head lurched backward. Linnie. it was Linnie. She did not want to talk to any one, especially not her. Sel was in a rough state and she did not know if she could control her temper. She didn't want to hurt anyone. She slowly backed up, hitting a tree. It made a shaking sound. She clenched her teeth in rage at its dry leaves.
>"If. …you don't want to see me, I can gladly go…."She stopped and turned to walk a different way, and waited to see if she didn’t wish to speak with her.
>Sel clenched her teeth. Her body didn't want to talk, but she knew she had to. She was so used to figuring things out for her own, that she never really thought about talking to others. Sel always thought she would burden them with her problems. And she didn't want that. Her face turned pain and her eyes looked in the direction of the voice. "....how are....you?"
>"Okay...Just confused...And you?"Linnie stood there facing a completely different direction of what Selena was."I know you must hate me for the day with me and rock."
