I just realized that we're lacking this topic and could use one.
This is where the Captain and Crew will keep you up to date on what's happening around the guild.
Today's update it that the month ends in three days, on the 30th.
So anyone wanting to donate toward the Member of the Month contest or try to polish their act to win, needs to do so quickly!
I will decide the Member of the Month sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
We also need more Halloween contest entries. Halloween is only a little under 5 weeks away!
Please remember to either make a Tektek of your entry, or dress up your avatar and take a screenshot.
I can't include what you are currently wearing if you change it between now and the end of the contest.

Sorry for not reporting much lately, I'm lethargic lately and being kept too busy by another guild I'm vice captain in.
October was not a very active month, so I was unable to select a Member of the Month. I'm sorry about that.
If we get more activity this month, I'll choose someone at the end of the month.
Please remember though, that it is your job as members to keep the guild active, not mine!
I'm just here to enforce the rules and accept new memberships.
Don't forget the subforums!
We have some fun games going, and I'm still accepting ideas for an ew subforum once we get enough donations to buy one.
My last note of business is that we have a Crew subforum, but I have no crew!
So if anyone spends a lot of time in the guild and feels that they can be firm but fair in enforcing our rules, feel free to contact me about it.
I'll be uploading an application shortly, but I am a demanding captain when it comes to how to run the guild, so please keep that in mine when applying. Only the most active and responsible members will be promoted.

I changed our settings so that new members no longer need to be approved.
Why would anyone join unless they liked Aekea?

As stated in our announcement, I am now accepting entries for our annual Halloween contest.
Please go to out events subforum to see how to enter.
And while I'm at it, I'd really like to start our monthly raffle again, wouldn't it be nice to win prizes?
Let's work toward making that a possibility again, please!
