Laying in the sun like the cat whom got the cream, the large, opulent goddess opened her mouth in a yawn, flashing her rows of pale pearly white fangs which stood out like stars in the dark against her dark lips. Shadowy coal like ors surveyed the savannah, it had been a quiet day, not that she minded but usually when she rested someone interrupted her, that was the way she liked it. Curiosity pulled them in and her silky tongue kept them with her. Stretching out her black claws she sighs her many thousands of gems twinkling in the bright light of the savannah. Someone would turn up sooner or later, she hoped.

Ubuge, was right as usual, the little cat trotted across the savannah with her head in the air, she was enjoying the sun, her chocolate and tan coat absorbing the heat and warming her cool muscles. A smile, as wide as a Cheshire cats spreads across her maw as she stops and turns her attention to a flash of light on the not too distant horizon. Blinking owlishly the little serval starts to pad straight for the light making a beeline for the dark goddess.

Ubuge smiles quietly, someone always came, settling her self in a more comfortable position the dark lioness smiles gently, her face turned in a perfectly friendly manner. Someone was coming to see her, every creature deserved her full attention if only for a little while. Waiting patiently for the approach she watches the small cat curiously, a strange place to find a serval.

Nekobasu paused for only a moment at the sight of the goddess, she had never seen one before, sure, she had heard of them, but seeing one in the flesh, well that was another matter entirely. "Uhm, hello maa'm." She stutters looking the goddess over in a wide eyed manner, she wondered if all gods were so well bedecked and wondered if she was allowed to ask? "My name is Nekobasu." She smiles her wide, almost mad looking smile, feeling nervous so close to the large god.

Ubuge chuckles quietly, her dark eyes smiling in a friendly manner "There is no need to be afraid dahling, I will not harm you." She purrs her voice a silky muurr, she wasn't sure how she could use a serval, especially one so far from it's usual haunts, she would just have to see how this particular conversation went. "I don't very often see servals on the savannah my little love, are you lost?"

The little serval looked at the large goddess almost surprised by how nice her voice was, she was calm and sounded very friendly despite her exuberant size and thousands of shiny things."Oh no ma'am I'm not lost. My friends and I are exploring! I heard the savannah was much different than the jungle, I had to find out for myself." She smiles in a calm, serene manner, her deep golden eyes sparkling. "I may never go back to the jungle, the savannah is such a strange place to be, always throwing me for a loop!" She giggles.

Ubuge raises a brow, it didn't take much to calm the little creature, perhaps she wasn't very smart. Shrugging her shoulders the goddess gives a light agreeable nod. "Oh yes my love, the savannah is very interesting, there are lots of things to see in the world, still, one hardly ever sees a serval out here, you are out of place my little duck." She purrs, "Perhaps you would like to go back home hmm? I can help you with that."

Nekobasu purses her lips, she didn't want to go back home,s he wanted to go forwards, to find more things, she had heard about some mountains with a thing called snow on top, now that would be interesting if she could get there. "Oh no ma'am I want to keep travelling, I want to see the whole world." She beams her eyes closing for a moment. "You must have seen it all, I hear gods travel very far distances in no time at all, I like to use my paws, keeps me fit and healthy!"

The dark goddess looked the little cat over, perhaps the serval was smarter than she looked, though travelling by foot was her own favourite past time, she knew many mortals would appreciate a short cut. She could after all fly, though she didn't very often, it was very undignified. "Then where is it that you are heading little cat hmm? You know, the whole world is hard to travel to , perhaps I can give you a little boost to your next destination?"

The little tan cat looked thoughtful for a few moments, considering the possibilities, she could be at her destination in no time flat with a gods help. But what was the fun in that? The whole point in travelling was to see more of everything. No she was happy to keep wandering "Thank you for your offer ma'am but I like to keep walking thank you. The whole point in travelling is to see as many places as possible and how can I do that if I get there too quickly. I'll take my chances on the road."

Ubuge rolls her eyes, though it is only a momentary thing hidden by her large cheeks. "It seems to have the wanderlust my young friend." She whispers, this one did not belong in her domain, she was not greedy for anything, she simply wanted to keep her paws moving. What a shame, servals often came in handy. Lifting a paw, she flashes the gold upon her wrists, one more try, curiosity often attracted such small cats, perhaps she would like something pretty.

Nekobasu looked up at the gold upon the lionesses paw, an 'o' shape formed on her maw "That is very beautiful, why, why do you have so many beautiful things ma'am? they are all very wonderful."

Nothing, Ubuge shakes her head and puts her paw back down, pursing her lips "I collect many beautiful things little cat, I like to own many wonderful creations. It is a part of who I am." She purrs, a pleased smile on her maw, she did so enjoy a compliment, even if it was from a simple mortal.

"A part of who you are?" The little cat looks deeply thoughtful, this was a conundrum for her, how could items be a part of who you are? "An..and who are you maa'm that you have such treasures bedecking you?"

Ubuge never hid who she was, she was proud of who and what she portrayed "I, my love, am Ubuge the goddess of greed." She smiles a quick little smile stretching out her paws she gives a sigh, getting to her feet, moving that huge bulk in a very easy manner considering her size, she looks down at the small cat "I must be off my little pet, do remember next time you see something shiny, to be more careful hmm? Curiosity killed the cat don't you know." She purrs and starts to pad away, her huge frame shifting almost agile, she had, had a lot of time to practice moving around her huge bulk.
