Some may or may not have heard of the G20 summit in London and now Pittsburgh. The international g20 conference in Pittsburgh was to address the global economic issues. The result of the summit are what some are calling the outlines for a new world currency and a new world order. Its important to notice that it is not conspiracy theorists that are saying this, its the mainstream news. "Barack Obama is 'President of the world' " is a direct headline from cnn. This has all happened between this last Thursday-Saturday, this is happening now, this is the world we currently live in.

Beyond these implications of a New World Order something else was happening in Pittsburgh during G20. Protesters protesting everything from capitalism to freeing Tibet and everything in between. These were peaceful protests that lead to unbelievable violence. The news has been light reporting on the riots but the few that have instantly blamed "left wing extremists". The protesters included several groups of people including republicans, democrats, iraq war veterans, Tibetan monks and others. They marched peacefully until police started to herd people into a larger group. The police, covered in riot gear and LRAD trucks(LRAD Long Range Acoustic Device) began to assault the crowds.

The LRAD is a sound cannon that 148 db, the max sound of the 500x ATC LRAD, will damage/destroy human hearing and damage, potentially, the brain. The sound cannons were being shot at, not only the protesters, but the news reporters, people walking down the street, sitting in the park, in their homes, and even at children. These devices were designed to be used against insurgents in the middle east, instead they are being used on American children on American soil.

The police along with the National Guard, US soldiers, used the LRAD, teargas, mace, attack dogs and night sticks. They attacked indiscriminately, even the reporters that had clearance and every right to be either were gassed and harassed with everyone else. Students on the campus that were getting out of class and were not part of the protest were assaulted by the police. One video shows how a riot cop and some soldiers trap a group of injured bleeding students in a stair well and shoot mace and tear gas at them. Another video shows a large group of police manhandling an arrested student begging for someone to listen and posing with him on his knees in handcuffs while another police officer snaps a picture. An old woman is bitten by attack dogs, people are snatched by up unmarked cars filled with US soldiers.

Remarkably there are some people that do not even believe this is even happening, that the videos are fake. The most popular video, the unmarked car full of soldiers kidnapping a student, is the most argued about tape but it doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what really happened.

It is important for us to know what is happening in the world around us, otherwise we will march blindly towards an Orwellian future that we will just keep telling our selves isn't happening.

This is a media black out, barely any coverage of the protests are being shown and flat out lying about arrest numbers.

I'm not saying any of this is right, but then again until a lot more is released from a wide variety of reliable sources, I will remain a skeptic.

Also, I see nothing wrong with a world wide curacy. It would be a lot easier to trade/buy online (or anywhere) from other countries that way. I see the convenience in it.

I have not followed the link, but just because a news station calls Obama the president of the world does not make it true. He may have power, but he does not have the power to control other countries.

The whole city pretty much went into lockdown that day... I was even scared of where I lived. (I don't live inside of the city.)
A peaceful protest turns into a manslaughter just because the president's in town. What, because OBVIOUSLY they're ALL TERRORISTS! Can you feel my sarcasm?

There was a video from a supermarket of a guy pretty much loading his cart with everything that made a bomb. So much that it was completely obvious what he was doing. But seriously - This is ******** disgusting. You know those times where you read things like this and you feel uncomfortable with being a human being? Yeah. I feel like that now and I' felt like that that day. Its like you wish you were some other sort of 'thing' just so you didn't have to be put in the same category.

Yeah, that day I really felt, y'know, some serious s**t could go down in 2012. Of course, after this? Serious s**t could go down anytime.
Not only is what they talked about and have planned and what not freaking me out, but that little tidbit about those sound devices. LRAD? Yeah. That's scary...

Y'know... I joined this guild because I love a good scare and I love horror stuff. But this kind of scared... Its completely different. And I can honestly say I am one of those people who are totally afraid to die or be put into misery. I have a good life, I have an awesome family(for the most part), a loving boyfriend... I never want to think about losing that, or feel that I'm going to, or KNOW that I'm going to... This s**t is going to make me so paranoid.
