SUBFORUM DESCRIPTIONS

This thread is more like a table of contents. I will be listing and explaining each of our subforums for your convenience. Since, at this time, there is no option for me to add a description to the subforums' titles, I will be using this thread for that purpose.

Please read this thread if you'd like to find out more info on our subforums and any possible future subforums. I will update this as needed.

The Gaian Parents Guild Main Forum
This is the main forum of the GPG. It is the default forum you come to when you enter this guild. This forum is Public. That means all members can post and read in it. This forum is used to discuss a broad range of topics, but is mostly a "general discussion" forum. A quick rule of thumb - if your topic doesn't seem to fit into one of the GPG's subforums, then it should probably be put into our Main Forum. Also, I will allow birth/pregnancy/marriage/engagement/etc announcements to be made in the Main Forum. After a 2 week period, those announcements will be moved to the appropriate subforum. For more details and info on what kind of announcements are allowed in the Main Forum, please check out this thread. Please read ALL the Main Forum's sticky posts and announcement posts BEFORE you post anywhere in this guild! I cannot stress this enough!
Teen Smackers
This subforum is Crew Only. That means only the GPG Staff can read and post in it. This is a subforum where the GPG Staff can discuss guild business privately. We use this subforum to plan events, discuss new rules or policies, and to discuss other important things.
Parenting
This subforum is Public. That means all members can post and read in it. This is a subforum for discussing all things related to parenting. There is more precise list of example topics in the Parenting subforum's "Guidelines" sticky.
Pregnancy
This subforum is Public. That means all members can post and read in it. This is a subforum for discussing all things related to pregnancy. There is more precise list of example topics in the Pregnancy subforum's "Guidelines" sticky.
Recycle Bin
This subforum is Crew Only. That means only the GPG Staff can read and post in it. This is a subforum the GPG Staff uses to archive/recycle old threads, dead threads, repeat threads, offensive threads, and clutter threads. We move threads to this subforum rather than delete threads when possible. If your thread is moved to the Recycle Bin, you can ask to have it restored. But that does not mean we will automatically restore every thread just because you ask. If a thread is moved to the Recycle Bin, then chances are there was a GOOD reason to move it there.
Life Happens
This subforum is Public. That means all members can post and read in it. This is a subforum for discussing all things related to life issues and situations. There is more precise list of example topics in the Life Happens subforum's "Guidelines" sticky.
Events
This subforum is Public. That means all members can post and read in it. This is a subforum for discussing all things related to events. There is more precise list of example topics in the Events subforum's "Guidelines" sticky.
Arts and Entertainment
This subforum is Public. That means all members can post and read in it. This is a subforum for discussing all things related to the arts and entertainment. There is more precise list of example topics in the Arts and Entertainment subforum's "Guidelines" sticky.
Archives
This subforum is Public. HOWEVER, All topics in this subforum are LOCKED. The purpose of this subforum is to be an archive for informative threads. These threads are usually "dead" threads that contain useful insight, comments, links, experiences, opinions, and information. These threads are here for you to read over if you'd like to see what has been said about 'x' subject. There is ONE sticky that is not locked and may be posted in by members. NEW TOPICS/THREADS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE ARCHIVES SUBFORUM. Any new threads made will be nuked on sight.
