That's right folks, it's almost October. And you know what that means? No. It doesn't mean get overly drunk and eat massive amounts of bratwurst at Oktoberfest. No it doesn't mean dress like a pirate and get as drunk as Jack Sparrow at the Renaissance Festival in Plantersville, TX. In October, a special holiday comes around, that gives us an excuse to gorge on chocolate and candies, dress up as witches, goblins and ghosts. No it's not the pagan holiday of Samhain, though you are close. It's Halloween. All Hallows Eve.
Halloween is my favorite holiday. It gives me the excuse to be overly morbid, sadistic, and gorge on chocolate.
But enough of that.
Angelic Ruin will be hosting it's first Halloween Avi Contest. I know it's a little early, but it gives people enough time to get their avis ready and submit them.
There are a few rules:
1. The avi must be dark or have a somewhat dark theme. Like Good vs Evil. Or Good and Evil co-existing. etc.. It's Halloween folks. I don't want to see just white fluffy clouds,
2. Be Creative. Be different. I don't want to see everyone do a vampire, or a witch.
3. Your avi must be a Gaia avi, not a tek tek dream avi. And you must show off your avi to the public for the week you submit it into the contest. If you change it immediately after you submit, your entry will be disqualified.
4. Have fun.
Submit your entries Sept 26 till October 27th. Voting will begin on Oct 28th and will run until the 30th. Winners will be announced on Oct 31st.
