For the past several weeks more and more spam has been flooding the forums. As each week passes by more spam is made, and more is made, and the longer they seem to stay in the gaming dicussion forum. It's come to the point that there's so much spam on the forums that reporting it doesn't even seem to change anything. Spam survives for literally days at a time, and rarely get removed now. I understand that the mods are in college, or have other work to do, but I don't see why there's such a flux in it now. The moment this topic was made there were at least 8 spam topics on the front page alone. Please tell me I'm not the only one seeing this.

I think it's because they only look for mods that help people in the Q&A Forum. Mods that don't care what goes on in other forums. We're lucky to have Beramode...

Mystic Sailor Moon I think it's because they only look for mods that help people in the Q&A Forum. Mods that don't care what goes on in other forums. We're lucky to have Beramode...

Still, the worst mods around are still the ones over at Neopets. They'll ban you for making a sum of money at once. Some guy won the Neopian lottery (which was worth about 1,000,000 np at the time), but had only been on for about a month. He was banned for cheating, since all the mods saw was a guy that had gathered a large sum of money quickly. They didn't ask about it or anything, they just froze his entire account.
Dammit, I hate those guys.

I think that mayhaps someone should make a log of these threads and use said log to try and make a case for why the VGD needs more mods or at least a few helper mods to help deal with the influx of spam and misplaced topics.
that is my two cents

you know I have been saying for months now that VGD needed at the very least two helper mods to help with this problems.... you also know I have spoken to Ryonin and Beramode about it
they said they did not see enough of a need, a log such as the one I suggested might be used to try and illustrate such a need.
it is no gaurantee but it is worth a try

she is trying to be helpful with the spam and repeat threads, guess I am a good influence
back on topic
if you get your log together I will definatley help present it to Beramode and Ryonin to see if something can be done

I probably don't diserve to be in the Paladins anymore, I don't think I've made but one post in the VGD in the past ... two or more months.. But, hey.. Neither has Ember it doesn't seem. xd He's the one who should be most active of the VGP, just because of his position. I'm not going to quit, I like you guys too much.. I'll probably pick up some slack sometime after Christmas.
