If you don't know what I'm talking about here is a link::

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tutankhamun

Last night I watched the new episode of Destination Truth on Syfy and I found myself going back to this topic. I had read about it before, and studied a bit about mummies and mummification and the aspect of the Egyptian afterlife always made me wonder. So when I saw this I was a little skeptical at first, but while they were filming a random dust storm swept over them out of nowhere, and two of their team members got sick. It was like a freaky coincidence of some sort.
Personally I think the curse could be real, regarding all the myths and stories surrounding it it's hard to pick out the fact from fiction most of the time. So I'm stuck at the 50/50 line of maybe it is maybe it isn't. Please discuss whether you believe it is really a supernatural curse placed upon his tomb or if it's just hogwash. :3

I don't believe in coincidences. They're too. . . Coincidental? That was a really bad explanation, I know. . .

Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised if it is cursed. I sort of think that people before electricity were far more advanced than we give them credit.
This just sort of backs up that they were more advanced than we give them credit By the way, there are no smoke stains in the pyramid, how did they say? (Not quite sure if that's entirely true, I heard it somewhere and immediately believed because I'd seen that picture beforehand) Anyways, they did believe in life after death. So, like the others, they did a lot to make them happy after death. The curse could have been a way to protect the king, who, unlike most of the other pharaohs, was worshipped like a god.

I don't know what to say about teh sandstorm other than perhaps bad timing, but as for teh two crew members getting sick, I could almost say that teh mumbo jumbo merely got to them. They could have gotten sick merely because they thought they were getting sick. A mind over matter thing.

Now, I'm not saying teh curse doesn't exist, as many strange stories have revolved around that tomb and teh pharaoh, but I'm not saying it does exist, either.
