 Having finally gotten away from his parents, Shishi was running through the woods. He was already late for meeting his dear friend. He hoped that she wouldn't be mad at him for being late.
Finally reaching the meeting sight, a lovely field of flowers, Shishi stopped. He was panting heavily and was trying to catch his breath. "Sorry for being late!" He called looking for her.

 Ichigo, herself, had long since slipped her watchful parent's gaze. .. Okay, so it hadn't been too long, but it was fun nevertheless. She wandered to the usual meeting spot with her best friend, her small tail wagging in excitement.
Though, as she waited for his arrival, she had gotten into smelling some of the vast assortment of flowers. There were so many, she couldn't help but admire them.
Her small orange ears perked at hearing another's voice. Her tail wagged as she strode over to meet him. "Shishi~! Your late!" Ichigo tried to keep up the false anger, though it failed when she smiled at him. "It's okay, though."

Spotting his orange and white female over in the flowers, Shishi perked up. He began heading towards her as she came towards him. "I said I was sorry!" He said lowering his ears, "I couldn't help it. Mom and Dad just wouldn't leave me alone." When she smiled at him and said it was okay he smiled and wagged his tail. "So what are we going to do today? Play? Explore? Hunt?" He asked grinning at Ichigo, "Oh! How are you Ichigo?"

Ichigo smiled, her small tail wagging happily. She pulled a face, thinking for a moment. What could they do today? Hmm... She blinked, before grinning at her friend. "I'm good! How're you, 'shi?" The already short name was shortened out of both laziness and affection. She sat down, still thinking of what they could do. "What do you want to do?"

"That's great Ichigo!" Shishi said grinning at the nickname, "I don't know.... maybe explore or hunt." He frowned for a minute as he thought about it. Noticing that Ichigo had sat down he plopped him bum down next to her. "Which one would you rather do?" He asked tilting his head, "I mean if we hunt we could always do a bit of exploring while we search for some prey."

Ichigo smiled as Shishi sat next to her, before thinking over what he said. Hunting did sound fun, so did exploring. The orange pup beamed, her tail wagging. "That sounds great!" The energetic female bounced to her paws once more, nudging her friend on the shoulder lightly. His soft fur tickled her nose. "C'mon, it was your idea; lead on!"

Shishi's tail wagged as Ichigo agreed with his idea. "Great! Exploring and hunting!" He said jumping up at her nudge. He looked around and randomly picked a direction. "To the.... East!" He said marching off to the left. It was actually North he was heading but he still didn't know his directions.

Ichigo smiled, bouncing after Shishi happily. She didn't know which way was East or West, but she'd happily follow her friend anywhere he went. Her small ears perked as a rustling reached her through the taller grass nearby, forcing herself to a stop to glance around. "What was that?"

Shishi was happily leading the way and had gotten ahead of Ichigo when she stopped and spoke. He paused and looked back at her. "Huh? What was what?" He asked trotting back to her. He looked where she was looking and noticed the grass moving. His eyes grew big as he turned to look at her. It was their first potential prey since heading out! He grinned and nodded at the moving grass, hoping she understood his mental thought of let's go sneak in and get it.
