Chrome smiled his lazy arrogent smile as he watched Luna, his Blastoise, sit in the tide and playfully splash Durana, his pidgeotto, and Anu, his Houndoom. Her shell guns popped out and she squirted the other two pokemon. He laughed as Durana zipped around in the sky, making a sound that sounded like poke' laughter. Anu, stayed out of the water but still enjoyed watching the two pokemon play. She would bark at Luna and Durana if they got water too close to her. She was more mature and protective than the other pokemon. She had also been his friend and ally way longer. He had met all his pokemon when they were in their first stages of the evolution, but he had met Anu when she was only a few weeks old. Time passed and as she grew, so did her liking for him and vice versa. They were once trainers, but his lust for power and respect had made them go farther. Now he was a "chromatic". His new name, was chrome. Not quite what he wanted to be, but hey. It worked. One step below what his dream was. Just a little more power, respect, and a few people to help him, and he could be what he always wanted to be...
A sharp snarl caught his attention. Luna had squirted Duran and Duran had fell onto Anubis.
Chrome Burst into laughter and fell to the soft white sand. His pokemon were all complete loons. He grinned and ran his fingers through his dark red hair and narrowed his bright eyes. He sighed and looked to the sky. The sun was out and there wasnt a cloud in the sky. A perfect day for goofing around.
Luna bellowed and trudged up the beach and sat beside him, content. Her blue eyes closed and she growled. The sound wasnt angery, but it was a sort of purr. Blastoise was a very calm, very proud and content pokemon. Except when it came to battleing. Then she was a hardcore, intence pokemon. Durana contenued to zip around the sky, happy and energetic. He knew that she would find something shiney and would chase after it, but he also knew that she would come back. She was loyal, but she had so much energy. Always on the move. Always finding something fun to do. Even in battle, she found it fun and could keep an enimy huffing after five minutes.
Anu trotted up to Chrome also, her pointed tail wagging, a smile glittering in her eyes. She was proud of their little "team". So was he. Anu was a very protective, very mature pokemon. She had a violent temper, but for the most part was quiet and spent her time tagging behind Chrome. She adored him and made sure he was safe at all costs.
Chrome layed back in the sand and put his hands behind his head. His mind wandered along with the slight breeze of the beach. Not too far away he could hear a family also playing in the ocean. He closed his eyes and sighed. He had plans of finding recrutes today, but it was such a nice day... and there was always tomorrow...
He chuckled.

Chrome opened his eyes when a soft voice not too far away breezed by. Intregued, he sat up and looked around. A young girl with a pikachu, xatu and dragonair were sitting upon the beach eating. He grinned.
"At least im not the only one who thinks that today is a great day." he looked at Luna, his blastoise, as she snorted in approvial. he chuckled and looked to the sky, at Durana as she chaced around some wingulls. Anubis was cuddled up beside the massive Luna and twitching. Probably because of puppy dreams. Chrome took one more look at the girl then contenued on with his own buisness.
