I'm sorry for such a stupid question, I'm just not sure if the chick's just that extremely wrong, or if I missed that day in anatomy...

Nope.

You have to have your first period before you can actually become pregnant.

That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge of femal vaginal anatomy. At least, where periods are concerned.

Thankees. I seem to be one of two pro-lifers on the site, and the debate's getting interesting..

I'm on here for a quick second. To answer menstration =/= period. For instance the pill stops a girl from menstrating (Releasing an egg.) however your period is when your uterus sheds old lining, and replaces it with new stuff.

A girl can get pregnant before her first period, however it would have to be JUST before it, as in it was coming, she didn't know and got pregnant. Not like months before it.

Sperm can survive a maximum of 2-3 days inside the female body. So that's a couple days before the first time she ovulates. She ovulates approximately a month before she sheds the utering lining and ovulates again.

If I'm right then she can get pregnant about a month before her first period.

Chances are that I'm horribly and utterly wrong though.
