What is your favourite Final Fantasy sword out of all of the games and etc? Mine would have to be Genesis's rapier! I love the colors....

I'm goin' with the Atma/Ultima Weapon from FFVI. It's the Ultima Weapon that started it all, and it actually got bigger as your HP was higher, which was a pretty good indicator of its power... the FFVI Lightbringer is a close second.

I'm going more for style than utility here... but my favorites would have to be the First Tsurugi, VIII's gunblades, and Kadaj's Souba (of which I actually have a replica whee ). Zidane's "swords" in general were kind of cool, too...
I kind of feel remiss in leaving out the Buster Sword and Masamune, but really, awesome as they are, I'm just so sick of them by now.
Oh dear, and I almost forgot. Can I count Cloud's Nail Bat as a sword? xd

I'm going to go for the obvious here and say the Masamune. It's the most memorable sword for me and I just love the simplicity and power it shows. (Be it from FF3 or FF7)
Coming in close afterwards would be the Ancient Blade; because I love petrifying enemies early in-game. xd

FF7: Ultima, liked the way it changed color
FF8: the Punishment, Even as big of an 8 nut that I am, I've never gotten the Lionheart.
FF9: The Tower, the name alone made want one the first time I got it.
FF10: The Longword, Simple yet functional. Never really got to see many other one cause my copy was stolen. Never got around to buying a new one.
FF12: Demonbane, really annoying to get early on but worth it.
