UNDER CONSTRUCTION. But I will work on it.

ALSO - Renee is not actually a noble or royalty, she is an average person. Explanations for the title come in the following posts.

Renee A. Terrace-Fleet
Game Rated - Lemon's prompt for 2nd flat
The writer
Name: Renee ‘Ali’ Terrace-Fleet
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Physical description: She wears natural black hair, parted in the center with nose-length bangs, down to the bottom of her shoulder blades; however, there are dyed-green tips on the end of the hair, a medium shade of green, close to teal. Her frame is short and thin, with only one large thing on it… her chest. Renee is a bit large in her breast size, and was going to get a reduction when she turned old enough to stop having them grow, but she lives with the pain and soreness instead of checking for treatment. Even though she is Caucasian, she spends enough time in a tanning bed to look very close to Hispanic, or at least have a VERY deep skintone, although having blue eyes gives away the truth. She has two sets of ear piercings, although usually only one is worn.

She likes dressing in some eclectic styles, mostly based in Japanese street fashion (examples at end), although, as long as it's not overboard, she likes Hot Topic clothing (especially dresses) now and then.

Japanese street fashion (not exactly like this, but some of what she is into) - X X X

Personality:
Renee is not the kind of person who enjoys rocking the boat or making a fuss. For example, if there was a soda glass with her fast food meal and she didn’t receive it while the sale is on and she ordered the qualified item, she would never go to the counter and say so, and will instead leave with a nonexistent glass. Since Renee is not big on animosity, she never goes out of her way to be in any form abusive to anyone, even if it means using white lies to prevent a secret from escaping and hurting someone. However, that doesn’t mean only good things happen every time she does. When bad things happen, she apologizes profusely to the point of annoyance. Also, she does not like to show other people that she’s having issues and will hide her negative or neutral emotions. At times, she actually is genuinely happy. However, it is hard to tell on those days, but she will wear her happy emoticon pin those days if she’s in a good mood. Most other days she wears other random emote pins, but never her happy pin. No matter what, though, she does appear, for lack of a better term, high on life and happy as a clam about it. Certainly she acts so in order to ensure she would never have to give pain like her father gave to her. Renee’s brain is also like an air filtration system as well; she is the most oblivious person you could ever meet if whatever you’re talking about doesn’t involve her interests.

Her current interests lie in Japanese pop culture, using her imagination and writing. In early grade school, her other classes left much to be desired, but her imagination and penmanship were stellar for her age. Not many girls were able to go beyond ‘I would like to be a princess if I were anyone’ with their story premise; she was able to. Around ten, though, her stories became a slight bit more morbid, at least at the capacity of a ten-year-old, thanks to what happened around that time. She found a new inspiration when she discovered anime online at twelve, which helped her get out of her anger phase; most of her stories are inspired by manga plots and pictures now. She did want to be a manga-ka, but she’s not Japanese and is a terrible visual artist, so she went through the next best route.

History/background:Renee Terrace’s childhood, although it was boring at times, was a very good one; while her mother and father gave her many things, she was not spoiled, or at least didn’t act bratty. However, there became problems starting at ten years old, when the only child found out ‘Mom’ was not actually mom, but her stepmother. The Terrace family – Mr. Terrace, his wife and Renee – were only a family for a few minutes, because Mrs. Terrace died of childbirth complications soon after Renee was born. However, Mr. Terrace had remarried soon after to another woman – the woman that Renee used to call ‘Mom,’ because she was still an infant when he remarried and couldn’t know unless someone told her.

The history of Amanda Fleet is something of itself. She was an aspiring romance writer who seemed to have a promising future. She had a loving fiancé as well; nine months after they became man and wife, she had a child, and with only two published works to her name – a romantic short story and a Harelquin novel, “The True Rose Blossoms,” both published before her marriage – died young thanks to her child. In other words, Amanda Fleet, who became Amanda Terrace after her marriage, was Renee’s mother. Renee’s father withheld the information regarding Amanda for ten years, until he felt Renee could handle the truth. He was wrong; Renee’s behavior undergone a 180-degree change. She became not just sad over the news, but enraged; she was starting to have troubles with her grades. Luckily for her, she had her writing to fall back on, albeit for a short period. While twelve-year-old Renee was at a charity yard sale (held by the school district), there was a book out of place due to the nature of its content: “The True Rose Blossoms” by an Amanda Fleet. Despite the fact it was a Harlequin novel, Renee bought it anyway with curiosity piqued, as well as a second book, two for a dollar. After reading the rather risqué novel, Renee thought about her mother and wanted to walk Amanda’s path. When writer’s block came on, random internet surfing helped her discover anime and manga, which helped jumpstart inspiration on stories, not to mention the short-lived dream of wanting to be a manga-ka.

After the incident at ten years old, Renee is much more of a white-liar than she ever has been, even though she has came to terms with the fact that her father lied to her so as not to break her heart (although he still did). That said, she moved out with a not-so-close friend when she was seventeen, desperate to leave the lies, and found a job at a book store, where she’s average in everything, although excels at running the manga section.

Why they applied: The other novel that she bought was created by Benjamin Baenare, whose writing was amazing, although Renee couldn’t put her finger on why. While she worked at the book store, she was still trying to write, however, there weren’t many publishers she liked who would accept her. Renee also wanted critique on her work and needed a way to put her many character ideas on paper, a skill in which she leaves much to be desired. Considering she wanted to go into the field of fantasy and science fiction, it is no wonder she would go to Benjamin Baenare’s workshop for advice, even on networking, as the only other person in the field that she knew was deceased and likely to be biased if she were alive anyway.

The character
Name: Mecana Pleti
Age: 15 11/12 (2 months is one month in racial age), about to be 16 Lithipel (race) years (31, about to be 32 human years)((OOC Notes 1 – Halve a human age for a Lithipel age, Lithipel are slow growers and look like their respective human years – if a Lithipel is 10 human years old, they will look like a 5-year-old, for example.))
Gender: Female
Species She is a Lithipela, a crossbreed of humans and the magic-powered robots ((Neuire, or new-ray)) on the planet Neuirlaty ((OOC Note - new-ra-te, at least, it is what it’s called in Renee’s version. The story is set in Hiast’s areas when Benjamin is at work, although it is partly on a barren, ice-covered Earth. Also, here’s a guide to forms of the racial name.
Lithipel – plural [feminine, masculine, mixed, all], gender-neutral singular
Lithipela – feminine singular
Lithipelo – masculine singular))
Physical description: Mecana is a bit more fit than her creator is, to the point that she almost looks male. Ever see those female fitness trainers on the infomercials? She has the build of one, but has smaller breasts (smaller than those of her creator, to be honest), almost no hip to speak of and broader shoulders; she is also quite a bit taller than her creator. Her skin tone is very fair, and Mecana's skin looks like it can get burnt easily. Her curly hair is rather messy and frazzled, although it is in a bobbed style ((Stylus and Blossom hairstyles mixed, basically)) and is a red-pink color, not quite either shade. Her pine-colored eyes are capable of showing much emotion.
Due to the genetic experiments her mother undergone 32 years ago and the father’s racial traits, Mecana has radiation in her body – everybody who is at least partly human on Neuirlaty does due to either their experimentation or their parents – which allows her to psychically ‘feel’ those body parts of hers that are made of copper-colored metal. Both her legs resemble transfemoral (above-the-knee) prosthetics, although they are bonded to her body and not removable. She also has wings made out of the same metal, which, while movable, do not allow much flight unless her adrenaline starts pumping. It would otherwise take too much power out of her, at least at this time. ((This and other powers Mecana has, such as transmuting metal, will eventually grow stronger as the story is written.))
Whenever Mecana can, she wears legwarmers in order to cover what she can of her lower legs when exposed, since, even though the legs are durable, they show her traits more than what is needed, and metal won’t heal like human skin in a fight, which does happen. If she wears something that covers her back, she will rip holes into where the wings would have to go, but she usually dresses like a girl in the first place so as to look somewhat female. Most of what she wears shows her back and at least part of her legs off, due to the metal’s movements – if she wears something too tight around her legs she may not even be able to move them.
Personality: Despite the way she dresses, which is not just girly, but could potentially be risqué, she is not ‘easy’ or an easy person to deal with. The fact is, her tact is reserved for only very few beings, and it’s not enough to share with everyone she cares about. Mecana holds no love toward the Neuire, due to the fact that her mother, Ms. Pleti, suffered at their hand for many years, and was able to tell the tale before her death. While Mecana will not show it willingly before most people, she is still disappointed with herself due to the above (more details in the plot); it does manifest in anger and rage, where Mecana is more apt to fight as a result.
She is supportive of old humanity and Lithipel, who are both at least partly human and have emotions, which she sees as the main difference between them. Despite how she acts rashly, Mecana has a weakness for handsome males, typical of your young adult who is just getting hormones, that sometimes hurts her in more ways than emotionally.

The story: An outline of what sort of story your writer will begin in the workshop and live out as their characters. The elements involved the challenges they will face etc. I.E we want point form thoughts here not a mini novel itself.
The end of Earth was over long ago, before the boiling water started to freeze. The next closest planet to Earth that had similar composition was in another galaxy; the planet’s name was Neuirlaty. Only those on Earth with genetic or learned superiority that could be found before the waters rose high were the survivors of global warming, and then it was a meager 10,000, with the rest lost within the liquid casket of the ocean. The 10,000 humans on Neuirlaty never knew the truth, though, until the end of their lives. They were pieces in a chess game, seemingly played as experiments, and many did not make it to their life expectancy.

Years later came the blessed end results of the human remnants – the Lithipel. These children, the hybrids of magic, technology and nature, were the second-rarest and most powerful of the races – they were durable and lived a little longer than the now-endangered humans, yet had powers similar to those of the common enchanted robots, the Neuire, that share the planet with them. The Lithipel had one task ahead: Prepare themselves to repopulate and recreate Earth when they grew up. The coming-of-age ceremony ((OOC Note – Living to 16 Lithipel years means a send-off to Earth in order to restart life, or coming of age)) leaves Mecana, a metal-air Lithipela whose human mother was still alive for some time after her birth, questioning the motives of Neuirlaty’s leaders, curious regarding what was really to happen to the Lithipel, and most of all, if they could even survive the planet Earth in the state her mother told her about?

-OUTLINE of Phoenix’s Earth-
• Prologue: Looks back before Mecana’s existence in the story to 100 years before that, 2050 (Mecana wasn’t born until 68 years after this, or 2118 – it is 2150 in the story’s start), when global warming was at its worst. You find out Mecana’s ancestors were influential ‘space life’ experts that found the Neuire leaders, who were not only more technologically advanced than the humans of Earth, but soon offered the human race help for their plight of losing the planet – shelter for a limit of 10,000 of the whole over-billions population, handpicked by the 200 representatives of Neuirlaty. Mecana’s ancestors made it in the 10,000 privileged. This is likely to be written before Renee goes to Hiast, since Mecana isn’t there right at this point.
• First Part: Forward to two human months before the coming-of-age ceremonies. Mecana is talking to her roommate Soyele, who is a Lithipela at her ‘school,’ and brings up that she misses her human mother. Conversation ensues about her mother and the ceremonies, Mecana starts thinking about what is truly in store for the first group of Lithipel to go to Earth, and first starts meeting the people she’ll join in the Project ((‘Project Revival’ is the in-story name for it)). Mecana also meets a cute-looking Lithipelo, Riras, in the school who helps out with the ceremonies and seems supportive of the Project, and starts to argue with him. He does show up later.
• One-and-A-Half Part: Less than a week before the first set of ceremonies, the Neuirlaty governing body starts to make seemingly inane announcements regarding the ceremonies, one of them being that each Lithipel must have a date to go with (the ceremonies are usually held around August) or end up staying on the planet for the rest of their lives. This was dangerous for Mecana due to a plot-point reason. ((We find out in another part of the story [probably the end of the work] that the reason behind this, as well as almost all other actions of the officials, is so that they can learn to create emotions.)) Mecana and Riras meet up again and make plans to go to the Ceremonies together, although she only accepts the offer in order to evade the law.
• Second Part: The Ceremony seems to go fine so far with her friend and her date by her side, and ends fine as well. There is little to be worried about until the group goes to Earth, and finds only salt water, which is the only thing on Earth left, along with a few chunks of ice. The communicator between the Project’s main craft and the Neuire base is broken, not allowing contact with the ‘home’ planet – in the meantime, a transport craft is created. Mecana also looks deeper at her past, where Ms. Pleti asked her only daughter to kill her, an illegal act in Neuirlaty for a Lithipel or human (to kill a human).
• Second-and-A-Half Part: When the craft is created and the communicator fixed, the assignments for the ship went to Mecana and the male she met. You find out what his real opinions are about the Project, and our protagonist starts to fall for him, little by little, as a result. When they make it back to Neuirlaty and they enter the base, there is a startling sight – the Neuire are tracking all actions of Lithipel on or near the planet, and the humans are nowhere to be found outside the base’s doors. Mecana and her crush are then caught and captured, Mecana in worse shape due to the ‘crime’ she played a role in!
• Third Part: ((I don’t know what to do with this or the epilogue. Escape will probably happen, and I was also thinking of having the duo fight back in various ways, [protest, breaking others free, etc.] with combat being the main point at the end. Whether or not Mecana’s ending is happy or not, I have not decided.))

Prompt response: Number three. Despite the changes, Mecana is also represented by green here, since she still is mostly Renee at this stage.

Mecana seemed her usual self, although for those who really knew the truth, they would find that her creator was being dissolved more and more as time passed. ‘Renee,’ the name for that other self, was slowly being eaten away, replaced little by little with her character’s traits, at least physically right now. Her hair was starting to grow wavier in a red-violet shade, and the eye color was starting to show in the form of a deep green ring around her pupils, surrounded by typical slate blue. While Renee’s breasts shrunk, her back had worse pain than ever due to Mecana’s metal wings.

Mecana’s influence was starting to grip Renee; the physical transformation was going like clockwork.

An alarm clock went off, playing intergalactic gibberish on the radio. At least snooze buttons were still here on Neuirlaty’s clocks, Renee thought. The alarm played more of the same cruddy music, and taking locks of messy, multicolored hair out of her face, the time was about 5:15 PM. Renee found that caffeine pills still existed, buying some ahead of time. She took one and suddenly got a jolt of energy, realizing that they were made differently here. This was when she sat up, very slowly due to the pain, and saw the dress laying on the table.

“Mecana doesn’t have decency, does she…?” Renee was thinking this in her head when she gazed at the garments her character planned on wearing to the Ceremonies. Renee couldn’t remember the nuances of what, exactly, Mecana dressed up in. But who would wear a sheer red toga-like dress without a slip? Certainly not Renee, who decided to look into the closet for something a bit more appropriate...

“Hey, Mecana? Why’re you hiding in the closet? You have a date, you have a really nice dress… my god, girl, what’s going on that you’re not at the ceremonial ball yet?”

“Um… I’m Renee…” the ‘older’ girl responded quietly in return, soon realizing it was a mistake for her to say that remark; Renee was at least a bit aware that yes, she was Mecana to some of the inhabitants. ”NO, I’m still Mecana and I’m still me! I’m just looking for something nice to wear is all, Soyele…” A forced manner was let out so as not to confuse the girl… this was Soyele, Mecana’s roommate, right?

“Come on. I think Riras is waiting, and you don’t have much time, unless you want to stay. I can tell from the conversation we had some time ago that you don’t want to be stuck on this hellhole forever, and from what the officials say, being late is the same as going without another person. So just get on the dress so you can go, I’ll also leave something for you to give to him. He IS your date, and being polite for once can help!”

Renee was flabbergasted by the girl’s statement, and made a small grunt so as to shoo her character’s friend away. “You usually respond with expletives,” Soyele’s trailing voice said, mixed with fading footsteps. Yet another mistake on Renee’s part, just like she only had less than 15 minutes to get ready and get to the venue. Guess raiding her character’s wardrobe would have to wait!

“I’m surprised that nobody tried to hit on me,” Renee told herself, walking into the area in that same dress, which she worn undergarments with in place of a slip, since Mecana somehow didn’t have one.
“Oh, really. Is that so, Miss Pleti? It seemed as if you liked any guy and hit on them yourself!” When Renee turned around in the direction of the voice, there was a young male, around her character’s age, causally leaning against a wall. This male was dressed up in a suit, long golden-brown hair in a low ponytail, tan skin and light blue eyes contrasting. His element could be felt rather quickly in close quarters; he was a Lithipelo with ice powers. The only person who Renee intended to have such traits was Riras... she figured she had better act like Mecana, considering that she had put down, in notes, that Riras liked Mecana for the outspoken side she had.

“Hello, Riras,” Renee said in the rudest tone she could muster against her protagonist’s supporting actor, who then leaned in for a peck. Knowing how Mecana would feel about that so early on, Renee stuck a lavender boutonniere, which Soyele created, in his face instead, continuing with her failing attempts at acting like who he thought she was: “Here you go, my friend suggested I try to be ‘polite’ for once, you b*****d.”

“You don’t have to be, Miss Pleti, or should I say Mecana?” the male said, laughing at himself, and pinning a permanently frosted, dark purple corsage on her dress; it seemed to represent Mecana’s heart, although Renee would not say so. Whether or not he noticed the material of her dress, Renee didn’t bother to look, as she was about as nervous, if not more, than Mecana would have been – after all, how many men had she actually dated in the real world, and how many men did Mecana like in her past?

“Let’s go in before I hurt you, okay?” Renee wouldn’t give him any chance to answer before gripping Riras’ arm and running inside, dragging Mr. Pretty-puny-boy along. She could get used to acting this way as long as Riras was by her side, at least – she never did picture him that handsome in the concept. Of course, tomorrow would become very interesting, when it was time to go back.

OLD INFORMATION
The character
Story’s Name: Phoenix’s Earth ((Just like the phoenixes who burn themselves and arise from the ashes, the descendents of old humanity, in the story at least, are trying to do the same, although by destiny.))

Name: Mechana Pleti
Age: 15 11/12 (2 months is one month in racial age), about to be 16 Lithipel (race) years (31, about to be 32 human years)((OOC Notes 1 – Halve a human age for a Lithipel age, Lithipels are slow growers and look like their respective human years – if a Lithipel is 10 human years old, they will look like a 5-year-old, for example.))
Lithipel – plural [feminine, masculine, mixed, all]
Lithipela – feminine singular
Lithipelo – masculine singular))

Physical description: ((OOC Notes 2 - Lithipel are like human ‘Pokémon.’ All have a ‘type’ or two, which name their powers and, to some extent, their looks. For understanding the description, I shall say that Mechana is a metal-air Lithipela and has lots of metal parts and a pair of wings as a result; however, all the first-generation Lithipel – probably the only ones that will be featured - have some sort of metal marks, as one parent is always a robot. Here’s a quick summary of how they come to be – the human parent who has conceived them had genetically modified sex cells from the Neuire experiments, and the other parent, at least in the first generation, is of the Neuire race.))
Mechana has a bit more of a taller, more muscular frame than her creator, though her curves are much closer to nonexistent – she is not as filled-out as she could be, and she could probably pass for a male since her shoulders are broad and her body has some lean muscles (if you need an example, look at the females in fitness product infomercials and cut them straight). Her red-violet hair is wildly curly to the point of untamable and cut in a bob. Her typical outfits always cover her lower legs unless she is either comfortable enough in order to, or will have to, show them, as her knee down to her foot on both legs are prosthetic-like in the fact that they are made of metal, and Mechana’s already learned that it’s painful to get rid of rust where there was steel. ((Despite being inorganic, the metal on her body is part of her body. Therefore, she can feel pain in those areas that are made of metal. The process above probably felt like she’s had bone marrow removed and replaced, but up at the surface.)) This also went for the wings, which basically can only allow flight on her adrenaline rushes, because other than that, she doesn’t have enough willpower to make them move any higher than a few inches off the ground. However, she did recently gain the ability to mentally change metal and air to some extent, and can now move her wings’ position, also a painful ordeal but at times useful. Mechana is much paler than her creator, and her irises are a deep pine green, a shade that’s bit more muted than that hair of hers. This teenager found legwarmers to be the best invention she’s known of, as she can resist some scrutiny from the humans she meets by using them over her calves. Her wings, however, are embedded in her body and wing covers don’t exist, so it’s still obvious she’s not of old humanity.

((OOC NOTES - The metal appendages make it hard for her to swim, and the metal, if not dried quickly, can rust, which, for Mechana, feels like a rash, since she can feel the metal. This is a rash much harder to get rid of, though, than a regular rash – she usually has to undergo ‘surgery’ to get rid of the rash, although Mechana isn’t going to do so unless she absolutely must, because she does not mind having those ‘wounds.’ Mechana is used to pain and does not complain much about the experience.
Outfit ideas will be made, and, because she can move her wings around, some outfits can cover her back if they have slits for the wings, like the jacket she is pictured wearing.))

Personality:
Mechana is bitingly sarcastic and will say what is on her mind most of the time. She also has a little bit of tact, but it depends on your race and how good your relationship is with her, because with Mechana, there’s not enough to go around to everyone she meets, much less even cares about. Now, if she were to talk to someone of the Neuire race, for example, it's probably not going to be as polite as if it was one of the Lithipel or old humanity, as she has prejudice against the majority - about maybe only one or two she would be kind to genuinely - of Neuire. She hates the Neuire, even though she is partly one of them, because her mother told Mechana, her only daughter, the truth about the Neuire at her deathbed. Inside this cold-seeming attitude, she cares a lot about old humanity, and will help the Lithipel race as well if they ask. But don't expect her to act as if she is in upper-crust society, because she just won't fit in there.

Transformation process: How you'd like to see the writer become their character through the stages . This isn't necessarily exactly what will happen but it gives us a good idea of what you're plotting and we try to be accommodating.

o Renee's hair kinks up and becomes red-violet, somewhere between magenta and burgundy. Hair color change can happen however.
o The metallic wings will slowly 'grow' by poking out of her body as they are made. Whether or not this process involves pain and such is up for the artist to decide.
o Renee's skin becomes paler, from her burnt-in tan to very fair.
o Eyes eventually change color to the dark pine green from bright blue.
o The lower legs (knee and below) will become harder and look more gray until they become metal and merge with her skin.
o Because Mechana is a bit taller and does not have as full a chest, these attributes (Renee's shortness and ‘size’) will eventually change too.
o Her attitude changes too – she goes from meek and self-conscious Renee, to the ‘younger’ Mechana who is vocal and not afraid to speak up. (If there’s any poses that reflect those sorts of attitudes, that is…)

ALSO – yes, restarting life is a major part of Phoenix’s Earth, however, because this version of Earth needs much more than people, I’m not expecting anything past PG-13, or anything I’d need to fade out. I’m not getting myself banned for this, because who would?

Writer
Physical:

Renee is Caucasian, and she is petite in weight and stature, yes, but her chest is a bit big. She didn’t get implants, and she is not a star of anything adult. It’s just large for her lack of height and heaviness is all, although for some reason, she doesn't care that she may need a reduction. Her mixture of pin-straight natural black hair with green-dyed tips doesn’t help that bed-tanned skin of hers.

This paragraph is a bit confusing, I get what you're trying to convey overall but it needs to be rearranged or at least put in a bit more of a plain manner. Also if her breasts are large enough for her to require a reduction becuase of her small stature she should be showing signs of physial pain from it.

You also forgot to give her an eye colour.

Even for an otaku her clothing style as you describe it is a bit excessive and likely to be disruptive to anyone around her which should make her life very difficult in the terms finding a job and doing every day things like grocery shopping. I would suggest toning it down a little or giving her a distinct style. Something like schoolgirl outfits with hello kitty buttons on the collar or sweet lolita accessorized with silk handbags etc. Something age appropriate and quirky but still put togeather.

I'm a hopeless fangirl myself and even I try to be not too crazy most of the time, although I will wear all my t-shirts from anime conventions I've attended and my house is totally decorated with anime stuff .

personality:
Too short, you need to extrapolate a bit more and also describe how she is with other people and handles stressing situations when alone. You need to elaborate on how exactly she lies and under what circumstances even if she's not aware of doing it there has to be things that trigger the lies.

In regards to her hobbies you could also explain a bit more about why each is important to her, how they fulfill her.

History:
We need more backstory on how renee reacted to the news of her mothers death other than just with sadness, how did it change her behavior and why did it affect her home life etc? what was her relationship with her parents, what was school like

Also more information on when she became interested in anime ( unless you've covered that in personality by then). don;t be afriad to write a lot of info we need to really have a feel for her.

I do like Renee having found her mothers novel at a yard sale, it's really cute but not unrealistic. How was she supporting herself after she moved away from home ?

Application reason: Pretty interesting to be honest and I liked it.

overall: There's potential in your writer but she needs more fleshing out to seem fully real and like a character I could connect with.

Character:

Physical: Mechana's description isn't that bad but it needs to be a bit better organized into sections perhaps, build, skin, hair& eyes then metal portions followed by clothes. Even in description writing should flow.

I'd like to see a bit more info on how the metal she can feel actually functions and stuff and I'd honestly suggest just making it an organic metal of some sort it makes more sense that way.

personality: I'd like to see this fleshed out just a bit more, why does mechana have the racial bias etc as that's something Renee should have thought out. Though if she hasn't you should make a note of that as it could be a plot point for later.

I do like that she's Renee's opposite and more forcefull though.

overall: a bit more solid than her creator but she needs needs a bit more work.

story: Best part ! There's a lot of potential here with why the humans were really rescued, what the new race will do after their coming of age etc etc. I do need more info though or what sort of things you plan for mechana to see and do.

Giant overall: There's quite a bit of work to be done here but you do have a nice foundation to build from and your characters are interesting.
