Everyone has their word pet peeve. Well, not everyone, just extremely neurotic people like me! Or everyone. Anyway.
For example: My best friend hates the phrase "stimulus package". I hate the words "puberty" and "typical." What is a word that completely bothers you?

Titillating.
>_> It's just...weird for me. I get this weird visualization of the word. yeah, you can guess what I mean. it's the visualization + meaning of the word I think of at the same time. bad mental image.

Umm...I can't think of any words I hate. :/ Is that bad or good? But usually what bugs me about words are the inflections some people use.

Liar
I don't know why, but growing up I was always called a liar, so now whenever I hear it (even when it's not directed at me) I get really pissed off.
A lot of people think I fib about things I say or stories I tell, and honest to the Lord God himself I never lied about stories I told. I would always talk about my family, and some of the things that happened in my childhood really did happen, but nobody would believe me. Especially the abused parts >.>

lol@Eikou's word. xd =(@saturn. That's sad. Yeah typical is one of the words that makes me feel like s**t instead of giving me a creepy mental image. I just hate hearing that I'm typical in any way.
