Even Ista's heat was preferable to Igen's. And that was exactly why T'ka and Haanyath were at Ista, instead of the Weyr they were currently residing in. Ista had breezes, beaches, and trees. Igen had sand, sand, and more sand. The only thing more intolerable than the weather and the drab scenery were the people living there. What with all their little factions and Weyr politics, it was enough to drive someone mad! Thankully, Ista was a world away from Igen, or at least felt like it, and was a fantastic retreat for those times when her patience wore thin.

Of course, T'ka wasn't actually supposed to be here right now, but, hey...whatever. She was here and there, and it wasn't like it mattered much. She wasn't in a crowded location, she and Haanyath were resting in the shade of a few particularly nice trees, the stocky green's forearm serving as T'ka's pillow. Sure, maybe if someone walking around looked hard enough, they might spot the spotted green, but...what did it matter? It wasn't like she was very important at Igen anyway. Who would miss her? Certainly not her superiors, she was well aware that such an independant female green rider and her fiery green were not well appreciated. Oh well. They didn't know what they were missing.

"We should go back before too long," T'ka mumbled, eyes closed, enjoying the soft warmth, the caressing breeze, and Haanyath's company. Haanyath was not so inclined to think of returning as her bonded, however.

<> Haanyath informed, her own eyes closed, head resting on the foreleg that T'ka was not using. T'ka chuckled and sent warm thoughts to her dragon. It was nice to share these soft, almost tender moments with Haanyath, who was usually to angry or stubborn to tolerate such things. It was moments like these that made all the trouble, the anger, and the moodyness worth it. It was quite a nice way to spend the day.
