Darcy sat upon her usual perch, her fatigue-glazed emerald eyes glancing around as she sipped on a Monster energy drink that was almost as green as her eyes. A completed Rubix cube and a half-eaten sandwich sat beside her; someone had been here a while. She'd come early, dragging Aaron along with her to keep her company and to ensure her safety.
Aaron stood nearby, alert as ever. Something had his sister on edge, but she changed the subject when he asked. It was unusual....she'd been acting this way for days, switching between lethargy and paranoia. He had to admit it: he was worried. But, he had to push his personal worries and fears aside; the had parents to inform today. Joy.

Adrian's entourage took up patrol in the woods as he strode up to the cave. It had taken some convincing, but since he had been so set on making sure it was safe for his lover to follow, he'd been allowed to go ahead alone.
His fangs vibrated with nervousness as he picked at the hem of his thermal sleeve. As tall as he was, the vampire patriarch was able to see the cave before he reached it. What he saw inside calmed him. Just a couple of teenagers and though the energies surrounding them had him curious, slightly wary, he didn't see any harm.
He gave a signal to his associate some odd miles away before going on ahead, resisting the urge to chew on his bottom lip. "Good evening sir, miss," Adrian half- bowed respectfully to the youth and frazzled sister. "Did you...what I mean is, were you the ones who sent the letter?"

Lyoko's eyes flashed red from a mixture worry and impatience. Should she just sit behind like this and let her love go on ahead by himself? She knew that Adrian was far more capable of defending himself that she was especially in her current state, but still...the woman couldn't help but to fret.
Sighing she took a deep breath. She could wait this out, after all it wasn't the first time she had to wait on him. Several calming phrases repeated themselves in her mind, but it was only a couple of minutes later that she had convinced Adrian's entourage that it was safe for her to leave.
Before they could change their minds, Lyoko was gone. Like the light breeze that fluttered silently between the trees, Lyoko was following after her lover. She refused to wait any longer.

Darcy smiled; he seemed a bit nervous. "Good evening." she said, her tone sweet as honey. Very odd, especially for her. "Yes, we're the ones who summoned you here. I am glad you came on time." she said, her appreciation coating every word. She already respected this one somewhat; he hadn't kept her waiting. She slipped off her perch, landing on her feet with a dull thud. "I'm sure you must be wondering why we called you here."
Aaron looked at his sister, visibly confused. Where was Darcy, and who was this person? He'd never seen her be so....civil and polite. It was kind of creepy, to be honest. She had to have something up her sleeve, or some other motive. He didn't see her acting as such out of simple kindness and courtesy.

Adrian nodded his head, feeling calmer now that he could see that they meant him no immediate harm. He walked closer up to the cave, halting on the last step as his subconscious prickled. Lyoko was coming, and either she was running or she hadn't bothered to listen to his guard anymore. Either one could be the case with her. He finished his approached and curled his toes inside his shoes.
" I am a bit curious, actually. The last time I checked my address wasn't publicably excessible." He said it plainly, with a bit of wonder and no tone of snark, with just a hint of an accent. "You seem like a very nice young miss, the sort I wouldn't imagine as to be willing to contact me. I am by no means a nice man."

Silently Lyoko surveyed the area before stepping out of the shadows. Her hands played with a wilting wildflower that she had picked up from the ground. The petals fell slowly to the ground as she plucked at them.
She could hear them now as she approached the cave. So far Adrian sounded calm and there were no signs of a fight yet. So it must be perfectly safe for her to go inside to him.
"It's true." Her words left her lips as she suppressed the urge to tease Adrian about him being a nice man. She gave a small smile of hello to the two, before walking straight to her lover's side. Now she felt comfortable enough to truly look around.
Crimson eyes looked at the two youths with curiosity. Seeing that they were teenagers somewhat calmed Lyoko before she noticed the weird auras. Still her irises melted into a warm honey color as calm returned. "I'm sorry. I just couldn't wait any longer, love." Her whispered words brushed softly against Adrian's ears.

Darcy just smiled ever so sweetly. "It's not." she said, her tone just oh-so-innocent. "But....whether an address is listed or not means little to our messenger." At the "very nice young miss", she started snickering, trying her best not to laugh out loud at the man. What a preposterous notion! "Well, we contacted you about your significant other." she said, motioning to Lyoko.
Aaron nodded and offered a small wave in greeting as the woman arrived, but otherwise didn't move from his position at his sister's side. He cleared his throat, hinting to his sister to let him take over from here. "First off, my name is Aaron, and this is my sister, Darcy." he started. Always had to start with introductions, right? "Before we explain....we'd like to find out how much you already know about the situation." His pale green eyes fell on Lyoko. "Ma'am, have you noticed anything....odd, recently?"

Adrian sighed. "Theres just no controlling you, is there?" He teased lovingly, looping his arm around her shoulders as he placed a cold kiss to her head. "One of these days you'll trust me." The vampire gave his partner a light squeeze, far too afraid of hurting her in her current condition to give it more than that before turning back to the two teens.
He didn't really know what to think about the girl. At first she seemed a perfectly nice individual, but the longer her assesed her the more he saw an open wound. The further you dug your claw through folds of meaty tissue the easier one could see infected organs. Adrian was getting a good case of the creeps.
At Aaron's question, Adrian lurched forward with a snicker. If he'd been living, his cheeks would have flushed. "Not to be rude, but what about this pregnancy isn't odd? Those of my kind are rendered sterile upon creation and Lyoko doesn't differ that greatly." He played with her hair, twisting it around his finger before letting the curl fray out. "We're either extremely blessed or cursed."

"We'll see about that day." Lyoko murmured as she snuggled comfortably against Adrian. Her smile didn't falter as she listened to Darcy or Aaron, but instead twitched into more of a secret smirk. She knew she should be more concerned but Lyoko was more interested by the second than anything else.
A soft laugh came from Lyoko flashing off the sharp points of her fangs, "I would hope that I had noticed." She mentioned lightly as an arm circled her stomach tenderly, "With what we are-" Her bright gaze looked up to Adrian's face, "The idea seems impossible, yet here we are."
Slowly she look back towards Aaron and Darcy, "Could you explain 'the situation' now?"

Darcy giggled. "Well, some of the people we call here haven't noticed that they're bearing life. Actually, those people tend to be rather entertaining; the shock and surprise that comes across their faces." she said, grinning and ignoring the look her brother was shooting her. "You said it yourself, Adrian; there's not natural way you two could have conceived a child. So," She paused to take a bite of her sandwich, obviously in no hurry. "I employed a supernatural way."
