Ok, after reading all this I’m after opinions and a general consensus. If there are things you’d like to add or subtract, I’ll take them into consideration so please PM me with whatever you have in mind. Take this small step as assurance that I am thinking actively about the guild and am working on making it infinitely better.


Doing away with:

- Pure humans. From now on, all the humans will have some power, although it will not be as great as the power held by Keystone students directly from the Realms.
- All posts, profiles, etc. There are exceptions for people who PM me and ask for specific threads to remain where they are. All other threads, profiles, etc. will be moved into a filing cabinet sub-forum and will be locked against new posts.
- The current storyline. It just doesn’t work. I’ve thought of something new (which you’ll read a bit of at the end of this announcement)

Introducing:

- A new sub-fourm for old posts. All posts in the guild at the moment (including character profiles) will be moved to the appropriate place and locked in the sub-forum.
- A character limit. Look, we want to encourage activity and having more than 3 characters spreads your talent (however incredible) rather thin. There will now be a guild-wide 3 character rule.
- A new storyline that should be easier to understand/control.

The “new” storyline:

Everyone in Grove is a member of a government watch program. The Government had gotten wind of the Gateway and wishes now to control the flow of special beings to and from the mortal realms.

Before Gateway travel was restricted, Realms people came through and began procreating with humans. The resulting hybrids are humans with powers that are perhaps not as strong as direct immigrants (Keystone students), but they're strong enough for the Government to want to control their movements.

In an effort to contain the mass majority of new immigrants and human youths with powers, the Government built Grove on the top of the Gateway and gave the Headmaster power of jurisdiction over the area as if it were its own micro-country.

I've decided to break up the division and war in the Realms. The idea of Heaven vs. Hell will be gone. Instead, the Government of the Realms and the Government of the Mortal world have a tentative agreement that there can be movement between the realms, but what the Mortal government doesn't know is that the Realms is starting to abduct young humans in order to experiment on them.

They're looking to make an ultimate weapon. Someone who can break through the division between the dimensions and give the Realms control of the Mortal world.

I'm calling the Revamp done. I've done a lot to give this place a face lift, and here are some of the most important improvements:

1. Humans have powers now. biggrin Yaaay! Everyone is special!

2. New Story. Alright, alright. I was too ambitious with the previous one. This one is easier to understand and quite maintenance free.

3. No check ins. You don't have to have new characters check in with the headmaster or Principal before RPing. Just go and enjoy

4. Character subforum. Now every character will have their own thread in the subforum. Anything about them you wish to post, you may do so in their own thread.
