Heaven had better wait
Pain, anguish, life, and love.
Feelings that fly free below and above
Boiling, freezing, my blood flows still.
My heart racing, my pulse quick to feel.
No matter how hard I'm not ready.
I need to stay a while longer until my family is steady.
The Angels sing my welcome, I hear how beautiful heaven will be.
The light I can see.
Please my soul's not ready for that flight.
For my life I still fight.
Mother, Father, Brothers, and sisters, need me still.
Please God let me make you a deal.
When those I love have peace,
Or come to terms at least.
Then I'll willingly go.
These ten years have been great.
I know to hope for ten more is hope to late.
Heaven had just better wait.
