Jedidah:
'Di stepped quietly towards the sleeping form of her tormentor. Her eyes glowed red, looking like a pair of dying embers in the darkness, narrowed to bare slits. She was out of control then, the thirst for blood coursing through her as she took slow, careful steps. She was tired of being subservient, tired of being scared, tired of being a slave. Logan was right, she needed to kill the b*****d and free herself from this hell.
The previous evening, she had found him and Connor in a bloody battle, the younger of the two covered partially in his own blood as he struggled to hold his ground against the older vampire. She'd intervened, giving Connor the chance to flee his father. She didn't know where the young male was now, just hoped that he was safe and licking his wounds somewhere. That he wouldn't get involved if this didn't go as planned.
She stopped, looking down at the older male. He was bigger, but she was stronger. All she needed was a little blood, just a little blood on her body or claws. It was all she needed to fight him with something he had no idea existed. Only her father knew just how much of a freak she was.
Eyes burning as she bared her teeth, she rose one paw and brought it down towards her enemy's neck.
Angelus:
Angelus rolled fast, too fast he was on his paws and then he was flying at her with a vicious snarl his face contorted in anger. Dru had been right, of course his little visionary was always right. Now he saw Di's true colors would he have to kill her now? He hated the idea of such a waste...maybe he could turn her...but no Di was already a creature of darkness and still she refused to see reason, like her mother she was weak inside not a true predator, not a true killer. It was that perhaps which had made it so easy for him to evade her little attack, well that and Dru's forewarning.
His claws dug into her wrists as he pinned her carefully his eyes glowing. "Such a naughty girl Di, what did you think you were going to do?" He growled and bent to n** her ear, at first gentle teasingly like a lovers caress...and then he snarled and ripped into it.
Jedidah:
'Di fought against his hold, the urgings in her mind to fight, kill, survive growing louder and louder as she struggled. She barely heard his words through the haze. And then he tore at her ear.
The young crusnik screamed in pain before snarling and kicking one foot blindly towards his underside. Blood flowed from her ear as she continued struggling, trying to get the upper-hand she needed. If only her tail had grown its spines, she might have had a better chance. But all she managed to do with it was fling the powerful fin towards her opponent's head, trying to free herself.
Angelus:
Angelus snarled as he felt her legs impact and as much as it hurt he was intent on causing her equal pain...no not equal much much more. He moved his paws to grab her head and slam it down in an attempt to stun her before his spikes grazed across her neck. He was trembling now, the rage was all consuming...he had to stop he had to focus or he might kill her.
As angry as angelus was he didn't want to kill the female, she was a valuable little gem, her inner power was something he wanted on his side. He needed her to darken, not break.
Jedidah:
'Di gasped again, but the pain actually... helped. It allowed her to focus a bit more. She growled and actually got a lucky shot in cutting him across his chest. As soon as the blood touched her claws, she hissed. It drained quickly into her claws before she smiled up at him, eyes glowing even more as she lost herself the power swelling within.
Angelus:
He snarled as he saw the glow, this had to stop now! He slammed her head against harder and dragged her up quickly tangling her paws in some wet strewn vines. He tried to tighten them before snarling in frustration and simply raking his spiked arm across her front.
Now she was upsetting him, really it was getting too hard to focus on why he shouldn't just kill her. He growled at the twinge of pain across his chest, there was a deep burn and the cries inside echoed in his head. Pathetic begging it was driving him into a frenzy.
Jedidah:
'Di only smiled as her dress tore and one paw flicked in a somewhat slashing motion. She didn't have much to spare, but it should be enough. With the motion, her eyes snapped wide and two crescents of blood flew at Angelus, aimed for his neck and shoulder. She couldn't free herself, but she could still attack, and that's what counted. She had all but forgotten her own wounds, charged as she was from even the small amount of blood. In fact... Her other paw tugged hard at the vines. She wouldn't lose to him!
Angelus:
Angelus darted but the second claw hit and ripped his shoulder viciously, he saw red then and with a growl he slammed his spiked arm towards her chest. She was actually fighting to hurt him? To kill him then? Would he be forced to destroy her or be destroyed? Was that what Dru had meant?
He grabbed her paw and bit into it trying to drain her even as she wrapped the vines tighter trying to cut off her circulation, her energy, her desire to fight. If she wouldn't fight him then maybe maybe he could find a way to keep from killing her.
Jedidah:
'Di tried to move to avoid his spikes but her paws tied, she couldn't move far. And certainly not enough. Angelus' spikes burying themselves just below her shoulder made her gasp in pain and her eyes cleared. She lost feeling in her paws and hung limply from them, pupils contracted from the pain her body was just now registering. She was better than this, she knew it. Why, then, could she not seem to fight her best against him?
Angelus:
Angelus snarled and dove in then to ravage her neck his fury rising like a great flood. Why had she done this? What was it that drove her to this? Tiger, tiger...Dru's words echoed in his mind and he growled running his spikes slowly down her body.
"You could have been so much more Di..." He moved then quickly to pull the vines tighter and then wrap her legs, he was going to teach her a lesson in loyalty. You were loyal or you died, that was going to be her last lesson.
Jedidah:
'Di bit back a scream when he went at her neck. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction. She coughed and growled at him.
"I'm more than you'll ever be," she hissed, gritting her teeth against the pain. Where had her thirst gone? Without it, she couldn't get past the pain. And that was making her steadily weaker as her own blood drained out of her.
Angelus:
Angelus trembled and stepped back his mouth felt strangely coated, her blood was different, intoxicating. He licked his lips and glared at her "Not for long my little pet...not for long." He pulled her head close and gazed at her a long moment before slamming her head back down against the ground and tearing into the other side of her neck to drink, it was almost as good as slayer blood.
He slowly stopped and licked his lips his chest heaving as he tried to compose himself. His shirt was torn and his shoulder ached fiercely, the mild sting on his chest was gone though faded with the rush of adrenaline. He ran his spikes through the remaining material covering her and snarled. And then it overtook him, the bloodlust, the frenzy, the basic instinct here was not to kill...
Jedidah:
As spots cascaded in her vision and a fierce pain grew in her neck realization hit. She'd lost.
Time seemed to stand still, then. It was as if her soul detached from her body. She didn't feel any more pain, barely knew what was going on. It was as if she was secretly watching another otter bleeding out as the greedy vampire took from her. But no, that wasn't the case. She was the one lying there, eyes wide in horror and pain. And like a shove down a rocky slope, she was back in her body, her vision darkening at the corners as he finally pulled away from her neck.
"You... b*****d..." she murmured out weakly before her world fell into darkness.
Angelus:
He growled as she slipped away, it was no fun if she wouldn't fight. He leapt away disgusted, why did she rile him that way? He snarled and moved closer again to check her pulse with a huff. She was alive at least...that was good...yeah good.
"Your going to be fine..." He snarled and kicked her into the river. There the water would revive her and she would just have to get over this...and she had better fix her attitude. Still...Dru's words were haunting...he glanced back at the river wondering if perhaps...but no. He shook his head growling at the fluttering voice deep inside.
