This is the place where you can find all the information you need for the layout and geography of The Order of the Rose, including the main SW map done by Roxy!

WATCH FOR THORNS, POISON PLANTS, AND THE PIT. THAT'S RIGHT. WE HAVE A PIT.

Basic Info

The Barrier is the natural defense that surrounds the perimeter of the territory. It is made up of various plants, mostly roses and bramble and the occasional poisonous flower, and has small gaps every once in a while about the span of one wolf. This allows entry without danger for the packmembers as well as provide the first line of defense against enemies. The Rose Guard is trained to handle its barbs and poisons.

Dens are created in an almost circle at the area’s center, lessening in size in proportion to the status of a wolf. Citizens tend to room together in minor crowds, but their dens are the largest; following this logic, the Grand Master and Mistresses’ dens are the smallest and can occupy both themselves and another. Theirs is decorated on the exterior with vines and on the inside with a miniature garden of roses.

Forests are mainly found to the pack’s north, west, and a little to the south. Smaller copses can also be found scattered towards the east, but they do not compare in size to those towards the west.

Mountains rise towards the north and west and slightly creep upon the territory. Members are only allowed to explore the lower regions of these mountains unless given permission to scout further. Snow sometimes can be found upon the crags in winter.

Rivers run slightly inland, but the greatest deposit of water lies in the small lake to the south-east. It also feeds a larger river that runs southwest and away from the pack.

Meadows are plentiful in the packlands and are especially beautiful in spring when the flowers bloom. The land is usually flat with the occasional hill.
