After another tiring dance practice session, Eve had contemplated whether she should take a walk around the park to get some fresh air, or simply go back to her room and flop down tiredly on her bed. Pursing up her lips as she thought while walking aimlessly, she finally decided on a compromise; go and put her things in her dorm room, then head out. Then she would come back and sleep like a log until the next morning.
She had to admit that although dance practice could be tough at times, it was a great workout. Eve hardly went to gyms, a fact that was surprising to others because she had a fairly good appetite and still remained slim. Perhaps dance practice had helped in that area, eh?
Inhaling the air in the park, Eve had a content smile upon her face as she walked around, looking at the people around her. The blonde liked watching people and noting what they were doing, and what they were wearing. Really, if she didn't exercise some self-control, she would have ran up to some and told them exactly what she thought of horrible outfits some could come up with. Luckily, Eve had learnt, albeit the hard way, to shut her mouth. Strangers would think she was rude when she was just trying to help.

 Bree was quietly minding her own buisness as she always did, music blaring in her headphones as she lived in her own little world. A day in the park seemed a nice refreshment after a long week at school. Spending a few hours here before she had to take the train home was a wonderful way to spend her homework free afternoon. Dressed in simple blue jeans ad a zip up hoodie she carefully walked along the cobble stones.
One would think she was only walking to the beat of the music, but in truth if one looked closely to her steps you could see she was carefully avoiding the cracks in the cobblestones. Be it a game or something more, Bree would never tell. Althought looking at ones feet made it hard to see where one was walking. Because of this she found herself nearly bumping into the blonde in front of her. "Oh my!" she exclaimed as she stepped to the side. She wobbled on one foot for a moment until she could gain her barings and place her other foot well within the cracks. "So sorry, I need to look where I am going!" she said, talking loudly over the sound of her own music as she pulled down her headphones on one side and sheepishly pushed up her glasses to their rightful spot.

Honestly, while walking, Eve was being focused on something else off the path, her blue eyes fixated at a bird perched on a branch, which was chirping merrily, noting the pretty, bright colors of it's plumage. So it was only when the other girl was getting too close that she spotted her from the corner of her eye, and realized she was about to bump into her, and she swirled out of the way on instinct (and possibly a result of dance practice), berating herself for being so careless.
"No no no, it's my fault." She said hastily, turning back to the other girl and looking rather flustered. "I wasn't exactly looking either. I really shouldn't be so careless! I mean, I could have hurt you! And if I let that happen, I would never forgive myself! I'm so sorry!" Blubbering an apology, the blonde girl bowed slightly to the other, berating herself. Oh, if Madame knew...she would probably kill her! A dancer always had to be alert and on their toes, she had said.

Bree blinked a little as the girl also appologised. She froze for the moment and didnt quite know how to take it. Holding up her hands she waived them a little to try and get her attention and try to calm her down. With as much as the appology kept coming she assumed the girl was upset over it. "No no nono. its ok, we're both fine. Catastrophy avoided you see... narrowly." she said and smirked a little, her attempt at a joke, her eyes glancing down at her feet.
"You moved rather swiftly, you have cat like reflexes miss." she said and held out her hand for a formal greeting. "I'm Bree, and Im glad I didnt litterally bump into you."

"I am really sorry." Eve said once again sincerely, a tentative smile blooming on her lips. She ordered herself to calm down, taking in a deep breath. Perhaps a reason why she was overreacting more than usual was because of the grueling dance practice and Madame's scoldings. Perhaps she should have taken that rest after all...
"Oh uh, I'm a dancer." She said. "Dancer as in, well, part of Crystal Academy's dance troupe, but not really one of those talented ones who get in on scholarship. They pick up moves much faster than I do and Madame always berates me about that..." Then, realizing she was starting to babble, Eve blushed and took the other's hand. "I'm Eve! Nice to meet you, Bree."

Oh a crystal academy girl huh? Well that wasnt all to uncommon, yet she seemed a bit nicer than the rumors she had heard. Just when to show you one could not velieve rumors and take them as fact. "Pleasure to meet you Eve." she said.
"Well I'm sure you do fine enough. To even be part of the dance troop you must have to be very talented. I know I would never make the cut." she said with a small chuckle and trying to be at ease.

"Well, I do have fun while dancing." Eve said cheerfully, perking up to her normal self. "I mean, that's what matters right? Even though I'm simply average, really. If you see our performance, you would know! The others' moves are much more fluid and graceful." She gave a gentle sigh, then turned her attention back to focus on Bree.
"Mmm, why not?" She peered at Bree's face, scrunching up her nose in thought. "You wouldn't happen to be a Crystal girl too, would you? I don't think I've ever seen you around..."

Bree, trying to be nice and help boost the girls confidence, thoughtfully replied. "well you cant see yourself dance very well. So while you may feel clumbsy or less graceful Im sure you fit in just wonderfully. " That was the correct thing to say wasnt it? Oh she was so dreadfully wrong at this, she had to over think how to act. Maybe thats what she should consider doing, she did it every moment of her life anyway.
"Having fun is the important part, I mean even if you are horrably bad at something as long as you are having fun and no one gets hurt then by all means continue doing it." she said with a bit of a nod.
"Oh no, I go to meadowview." she said with a smile. "that would be why you havent seen me before. Different schools and all that..er.. jazz."

"I guess." Eve murmured, and decided to abandon the topic altogether. She didn't like dwelling on unhappy things, even things that made her mildly upset. Though it couldn't exactly be considered as upsetting really, she liked dancing. Sometimes, she did secretly wish she could be better at it, but she wasn't as driven, as focused as some of the others. Dancing...wasn't exactly what she wanted as a career.
"Indeed!" She said merrily. "It's better to spend life smiling than frowning, that's what I always say!"
"Ah." Eve said. "Well, I can't exactly remember all the girls who go to Crystal either. I've bumped into some I've never exactly seen before."

Bree was beging to feel uncomfortable, it was true this wasnt a very large crowd, heck it was only one person! The problem was she didnt know how to keep a conversation going, she would over think things rather than have a casual conversation.
She wrang her hands lightly behind her as she swayed a little on her feet, rocking from the heel forward and back again. "Yeah, I dont even know all the girls that go to meadowview." she smiled at her. "and that is a good saying. "
"So uh..what other things do you like to do besides dance?" she asked.

"Plus, your school's co-ed." Eve pointed out. "Would that make our student populations different simply because Meadowview admits boys to their school too? I dunno; it might. I wonder if anyone has actually counted how many people go to each school here and compare the numbers. Still, Crystal's school population seems to me that it would pale in comparison to Meadowview's." Since Crystal's admission regulations were stricter and all.
"Ooh," Eve breathed, a sparkle coming to her eye as she bounced on the balls of her feet. "I like shopping! Especially with friends! And baking with my mother, and gardening; though I don't exactly get the chance to do that while dorming at Crystal."
