Beaches, everyone enjoys them whether they surf or swim, sunbathe or just play in the sand. Tahlequah has its own beach, though no one has been there in years. This is the Tlvdatsi event to explore Palo Beach before the cold chills the world.
There is a prize at the end, it's being made by Maya. To win you must be the person with the least amount of datsis[prefferably none] and has made the most LITERATE posts will win. Why literate? Because I hate chatspeak. It's an RP event so you should be as literate as possible, I can understand a one liner here and there but that's okay.

Roxxy jumped around happily in the morning sun "PALO BEACH TRIP PALO BEACH TRIP!" She had been bugging Ever since summer started for this trip. "Do you know who'll come momma??" she asked looking around the quiet area "You did hang signs up right?"
"Yes, I did, you helped me remember?" Ever laughed sitting on the edge of the luggage trailer "People will come don't worry" She brushed her hair from her eyes and looked around "They're just a little slow"

Dottie ran up beside Roxxy, seeming happy. "Roxx! Hi! Hi! I'm here now! We're gonna go to the beach, this is gonna be so much fun! Mama brought my whole family!"
Orange smiled at Ever and gave a little wave, though was holding Cambria in her arms. The datsi was a child now, but still got tired easily. She may have been loving, but it turns out she was a frail little girl, and a bit sickly.
Sugar and Kel walked behind Orange, whispering to one another and laughing every few moments. Kel was the newest addition to the family, but had made friends with her new 'sister' very quickly.
Dottie still seemed excited. "Roxx, we're gonna have so much fun, right?"

Tamire came running toward the group, but skidded to a stop a couple yards away. The pink adult looked over his shoulder, and yelled excitedly, "Come on! Hurry up you guys!"
Trudy, with Jarah clinging to her head, were walking at relaxed pace behind the hyper adult, "We're comin', we're comin'." the human teenager called back, with a laugh.

Roxxy squeed and ran a few circles around Dottie. "I'm glad you made it! We have Licorice too, but he just kinda sits there." She jerked around hearing Tamire "C'MON C'MON!!!" she shouted bounding towards the coming party.
Ever grinned waving back at Orange "Hey there~" she stood up moving giving Cambria a little scratch behind the ear. "Glad you all came, we're gonna have lots of fun."

Having been under a rock for the longest time, Crys decided she needed to get out and explore some. She needed to make some friends, too, considering she was still pretty new around here. At least she wouldn't be alone; she decided to drag Lemonjello along wit her. They both made their way to the beach where they saw quite a few other Datsis hanging with their owners. Crys smiled and nudged her young gold-and-green companion, "Looks like we're late to the party."
'Jello just shrugged indifferently, waving the cotton-candy colored girl away from her personal space. "I dunno why you had to bring me along..." she muttered somewhat unhappily; she would've been content enough to just keep sleeping the day away, but no. She wasn't that lucky.
Crys laughed and dragged the other girl along to the party, sheepishly waving a small paw at the others who had already gathered there. "Hey, guys. Didn't miss much, did we?"

As a shy person, Dai usually didn't hang in large crowds. But, like everyone, he just wanted a friend. So, upon hearing word of a Datsi beach party, he couldn't help but be curious! So, he made his way down the beach, and watched the interactions between the Datsis and their owners.
"My, what do we have here~?" he wondered aloud, wondering if he could fit in with this crowd.

Jarah jumped off Trudy's head and ran to catch up with Tamire, then the pair ran over to the group that was gathering. When they stopped Tamire kept fidgeting, like he wanted to run more, but Jarah had started to partly lean on the other male, "Hello!" The toffee datsi exclaimed happily. "I'm Jarah, this is Tamire," flicking his tail back at the girl they had arrived with, "and that's Trudy."
Tamire pulled away from Jarah and begin bouncing up and down, "Hi! Hi! Hi!" He said, "Hi!" The pink adult was childish had heart and always on the move, even in his sleep!
By now Trudy had caught up, "Hello, these two are really excited about the beach party," She said politely with a smile. "Nice to meet you all."

Dai jumped slightly as Jarah, Tamire, and Trudy appeared. He turned around and waved shyly, "I'm Dai, nice to meet you guys." Rubbing the back of his neck nervously, he moved further into the party, sitting down on a towel he found spread out on the sand. He was starting to feel a little more confident, and decided he might even go take a swim in the warm, clear water. But, he didn't want to go alone! For where is the fun in that?

Ever smiled at the people and started over into the group Licorice in her arms now. "So, no games planned, but we got sand" she smiled dropping Licorice on Dai's head "A datsiless man I see" she giggled and waved at Trudy "Hey girl~"
Roxxy had fallen over laughing at Dai's shock when Trudy's gang showed up. She finnally pulled herself up and ran a few circles around Tamire and Jarah "HEY HEY HEY HEY LETS PLAY IN THE WATER" she shouted before taking off full speed through the sand.

Dai laughed as Ever dropped Licorice, grabbing him and petting his head affectionately. "Yeah, I'm single, looking for me some datsis," he said boldly with a smile. He was feeling more and more comfortable around these people, happy with himself that he decided to attend. He looked at Licorice, then Roxxy, realizing just how much he'd love to have one for his own. He smiled, and with a laugh, tickled Licorice around his tummy. Then he saw Roxxy run off towards the crystal clear water, and, after setting Licorice down, did something that would make any superhero jealous! In a flash, he was in nothing but his swim trunks, his clothing in a neat pile beside him. With a giggle, he ran off after Roxxy.

I can't brain today.
Berri wandered onto the beach and slid her sandals off, leaving them at the edge. She loved the feeling of the sand between her toes. Making her way deeper into the beach, she watched the humans and their pets as they interacted. She wondered vaguely who belonged to whom? She giggled as some of them made for the water. It looked so clear and inviting. It took her a moment to get closer and when she did, she saw Trudy. "Hey there!" she said as she joined the group. To the rest she said, "I'm Berri. Nice to meet you!"
I have the dumb.

Roxxy looked behind her at Dai and grinned sliding into the water "I win!!" she giggle lolling onto her back flicking her tail spraying water. "Are there jellyfish??" she asked as Dai got closer.
Ever looked shocked as Dai changed and ran off towards Roxxy. She leaned over scooping up Licorice standing up seeing Berri. "Oh hello there, I'm Ever." She shifted the plushie Datsi and stuck her hand out. "I'm glad you came!"

Dai laughed, and moved waist deep into the clear, blue water. "Perhaps there are jellyfish," he replied, scanning the water nearby. "If there are, I hope they are babies!" he laughed, making a baby-voice at the mention of baby jellies. He turned and noticed the newcomer, waving to Berri in delight. Then, he returned to Roxxy and gave her a devious look as he splashed water in her direction.
