This is a post containing all the terms and stuff related to the RP. As more terms are introduced, this list will grow accordingly. The first time a word is introduced in RP posting, it will appear as a link to this page in the RP. Okay, I'll get you started with a few basic terms:


Elemental Crystal: These are crystals that contain the goddess Altera's magic inside them. These Crystals represent the emotions within a human being, and strong emotions of that element will draw a renegade Crystal to it. THere is only one Elemental Crystal, so if you see a Knight of an element you want... too bad.

The Following are a list of Crystals:


Fire: The Crystal of Will: This Crystal reflect the strong desire, or willpower, of a person. The person who attracts this Crystal must have a flaming passion, and will stop at nothing to seek it out. The Knight of Will is a strong willed individual who commands passions flames. At his best, he or she is passionate and strong willed. At his worst, he or she is violent and wrathful. The Crystal of Will and the Crystal of Serenity oppose each other.

Water: The Crystal Of Serenity: This Crystal reflects the peaceful desires of a human. One who attracts this Crystal finds peace even in stressful situations. The Knight of Serenity is a calm, collected individual, who never loses his or her cool and control the calming streams of water. At their best, he or she is calm and graceful. At their worst, they are trecherous and cold. Crystal of Will and the Crystal of Serenity oppose each other.

Wind: The Crystal of Freedom: This Crystal reflects the free spirit and desire to explore within a human. One who attracts this Crystal can never settle for the status quoe, and always wants to see the world. The Knight of Freedom is a free spirited individual who also wants to see the freedom of others. As the winds travel throuought the world, so must the Knight of Freedom. At their best, they are kind and willful. At their worst, they are isolated and cruel. The Crystal of Freedom and the Crystal of Heart oppose each other.

Earth: The Crystal of Heart: This Crystal reflects the inner soul of the humans. One who attracts this Crystal has a strong feeling of responsibility and a desire to set things straight. The Knight of Heart is a calm, yet willful individual who commands the gentle embrace of Earth. At their best, they are kind and gentle. At their worst, they are vengeful and viscous. The Crystal of Heart and the Crystal of Freedom oppose each other.

Light: The Crystal of Order: This Crystal and the Crystal of Chaos are different from the other Crystals. The Crystals of Order and Chaos reflect the hearts of the other four Crystals, and are therefore more powerful. The actions and emotions of the Knights of the four Crystals also reflects on the Crystals of Order and Chaos. The Crystal of Order reflects the peaceful love of ones heart. One who attracts the Crystal of Order is a kindhearted individual. When the Crystal of Order is unleashed, they change personalities that reflect the kindest parts of their heart. At their best, the Knight of Order is a peace loving, kindhearted person. There is no worst side for a Knight of Order in the Unleashed form anyway.

Darkness: The Crystal of Chaos: This Crystal reflects the darkness inside of a human. One who attracts this Crystal holds a heart of darkness and hatred. In the Soul Unleashed Form, the Knight of Chaos is a bloodthirsty monster, who thrives on killing. So much does he love to kill that he must drain the souls from fallen enemies to sustain his life. If the Crystal of Chaos were to ever run out of soul, then the Crystal would shatter, and all the darkness in the world will be vanquished, along with the Knight of Chaos. Like the Crystal of Order, he is a man who changes personality in his Soul Unleashed form. There is no best side for a Knight of Chaos, and at his worst he is a bloothirsty monster who no one can stop.


Crystal Knights: This is a being who commands the power of an elemental Crystal. A Crystal Knight is able to harness the power of this crystal and unleash the dorman power within himself or herself. The individual Knights are named after the Crystal they command(Knight of Will, Knight of Freedom, Knight of Chaos, etc), but as a collective, they are called Crystal Knights. The ones in this RP are called Knights of Altera, since they borrowed power from Altera's Crystals. They battle creatures sent by Tyrant, an evil lord seeking to claim the throne of Almighty One for himself. In the Realm of the Gods, The social class of a Crystal Knight are just short of Lesser God. But the social Heirarchy is unknown to the humans.

Greater Gods: These are masters of time and space. The Lesser Gods look up to these individuals. Tyrant and Altera are only examples of Greater Gods. Each Greater God can command an Elemental Crystal of their own. Some even have multiple Crystal under their command.

Lesser Gods: The Lesser Gods are master of elemental forces, and emotions. They are left with watching over the race of mortals, ensuring that they don't grow corrupt. Altera, although a Greater God, sympathizes with humans more than the Greater Gods, and interferes with the Lesser God's affairs more often. The other Greater Gods dislike this behavior, and they sent Tyrant to collect her other Crystals. Tyrant, however, had plans of his own, and tried to steal Altera's Crystals for himself. But this failed, and Altera cast her Crystals into the city of New York.

The Almighty One: This is a figure that even Greater Gods look to with envy. The Almighty One can unleash Magic that could rend the very fabric of life itself. The Almighty one is said to live in the Garden of Eden. No one, not even the Greater Gods, know where this garden is, however...




Forsaken These are demons that are under Tyrant's command. Forsaken come in three classes: Peon, Guardian, and Elite. Class is determined by strength, but all three classes share a ruthless obsession for destruction, and target humans with high Soul. Most humans do not have a large amount of Soul, but some people with strong will, or otherwise strong emotions will have a high concentration of Soul. Peons are the typical Soul hunters. They are varied, but most ground type Peons are like massive dogs, on all fours, they are taller than a tree, and standing up on its hind legs, they can even touch small skyscrapers. Peons are equipped with the power to blast Negative as a beam.


Negative: This is a powerful weapon usable by most people with dark magic, like Tyrant or the Forsaken. The Peons use Negative as a beam that blasts out of their mouths. Negative is a substance that acts like a leech, sucking out the Soul of everything it touches. It's instand death if a Crystal Knight be hit with Negative, as it instantly drains away all the power inside the crystal, and the soul of the Knights themselves. If hit with inanimate objects, it destroys all the human contruction and sucks out the magic inside the earth, leaving a parched, barren wasteland.
