Cadbury grew each day, muscles turning well defined, chest strong and wide and soon he wondered if he would mirror his father. Of course his coat and face were completely different. Chocolate's eyes were dark and deep with an inner ferocity and pain that Cadbury hoped he would never match, his coat too was much darker. Cadbury on the opposite was bright in orange coat and with the smile that always twinkled in his eyes or flashed on his muzzle.
He was always curiously and protectively following his family around, he loved his family deeply but his brothers didn't seem to think they needed any protecting. Cadbury was finally forced to agree, his brothers were big enough to not need him hovering like a mother hen. The idea of his father needing protection was laughable and of course he no longer trailed his mother like a pup. It was quite something for a protector to be left without anything to protect. With a snort he wandered along through the forest weaving along between the trees carelessly.

Raelin was by herself, keeping to herself as she had no other choice. Other wolves didn't understand. Her need for constant attention and comments on her beauty weren't just because she was a stuck up b***h. But she didn't want to think about him anymore, her father was long gone and she would never see him again, never be able to fully remember her family and pack life with a smile as it always ended with him leaving their mother simply because he was bored. Wolves always got bored.
Her head was so full with anger and confusion that she was hardly paying attention as she moved down the path that was taking her to no where at all. "I'm better than them, all of them." She muttered under her breath as she forced her head higher, not letting anyone catch on to the pain swelling in her chest.
She was better than that.

If he had been watching where he was going instead of thinking about his family and where they each might be or what they each might need he probably wouldn't have walked right into the beautiful female. As it was he did, and quickly jerked back shocked. Well now he had gone and made a fool of himself, but he couldn't help it when there was no one to focus his attentions on they generally wandered away from him.
"I'm so sorry miss! I hope I didn't..." He looked her over trying to make sure he hadn't hurt her. Of course it was laughable to think that he could hurt her just walking into her, unless of course his teeth grazed something or some other trivial pain. Cadbury did think of such things though, of how delicate the body really was.
"I'm sorry." He finally muttered feeling quite embarassed, at least he hadn't slammed into a tree and made more of a fool of himself.

Raelin was shocked at the suddent jarking sensation of a male smacking into her. His apology, though, kept her from getting riled up and that 'inner storm' inside of her was nothing but cloudy skies. The femme with blood red paws managed to lift herself back onto her feet properly and checked to make sure none of her furr was out of place.
Once she felt she looked fine, she gave a small smile to the other. "It's okay." Her words were light, showing she wasn't overly upset. He apologized, though.. maybe she should too. "I'm sorry, I should have paying attention, myself. Thoughts tend to clog up when I'm by myself like this.." She said that as though she was ever -not- alone.
"I'm Raelin," Her tail flicked a little behind her in an interested manner, her eyes examining.

"Raelin, thats a pretty name." He smiled and slowly sank down to sit infront of her glad for the moment of company. For a moment he just stared, she was pretty after all, but then he realized he had forgotten his manners.
"Oh! Uh, I'm Cadbury...it's nice to meet you, even if I wish my first impression...hadn't left such an impression." He chuckled softly and slowly relaxed his tail giving only a soft waver. He wasn't used to interacting with wolves outside of his family, he was so protective of them he had never really wanted to explore too far.
This was nice though, meeting new wolves, seeing new places, smelling new scents. The pack was getting a bit stifling and things there were so uncertain, always teetering on the side of a war, or if not a war a fairly large scale conflict.

Raelin's smile got bigger at the compliment, she bowed her head in a creeting before sitting as well. It would be nice to have a talk with someone, she didn't really know many wolves and had been alone for quite some time.
The way he seemed a bit nervous and unsure made her laugh softly, not in a mean way, but to show how it made her more comfortable with herself and her own entrance. "I told you that it's all right, Cadbury."
Though she was normally very upset and pissy, Haemon was starting to have an affect on her, and.. he was being so nice, complimenting her name and taking the blame for something that had been partially her fault. He was being a gentlemen, and so she could hardly be the b***h she was towards most females.
"Are you out here on a walk?" Her nose tilted up in the air, a position she was used to that made her come off as important despite her lack of an important status.

"Yes...a walk, everyone seems to be branching out a bit, exploring away from the pack. I thought I would venture a bit myself, stop following my family around. They can take care of themselves." The last part was an attempt to comfort himself, the reassurance that his family didn't need him shadowing them protectively.
"And you?" He asked his voice tinted with curiosity, there were plenty of lones about, but there were also several fair sized packs in the area.

"I'm staying with a rather.. interesting wolf myself, but I am out for a walk as well. To get a bit of fresh air." She wondered if the other could detect any scents on her dealing with the Reign of Terror. Most packs were very afraid of them, but she wasn't a member.. not yet. The Alpha didn't even know who she was. Packs, however, knew to be wary from what she heard. She'd believe it, too.
Her head tilted a little, staring down at him. Was he being nice to her because she was so gorgeous? She bet he did, but that was only because she believed her petite size made her rather gorgeous.

"You should be careful..." He murmured softly his voice held only a tinge of warning, he tried never to sound as severe as his father. Chocolate was ever vigilante, a force to be reckoned with. Cadbury on the other hand was warm inside, softer, sweeter, he didn't want to be the harsh male his father was.
"Fresh air is good for you, the hunting is good too, everything fattening up before winter." He chuckled softly his good natured tone back now that he had issued his warning.
