This was the place where the grand battle of Konoha vs. Kiri took place. On this battlefield lies the blood of hundreds of shinobis who fought for what they believed in. It is here that all grand fights take place in Kirigakure.

Sephiroth appeared slowly gliding towards the ground. He had his masamune out and waited for Zane to come. It would be one on one, a tough match, so he would expect, or more like hoped.

Hirose appeared high above, camoflaging himself with the clouds as he suspended himself on a ball of swirling wind. He had been looking forward to the outcome of this fight. If anybody tried to interfere he would take them down personally.

Sephiroth noticed Hirose's presence and smiled slightly. He looked at his hand remembering something from the chunin exams and then turned his hand into a fist. It was time to fight a true shinobi, instead of the weak mice. However, he wondered if they realized he was only fighting at 50% power

Zane walked cassually unto the field as he was enshrouded in a purple aura. The seal inside of him pulsing as he grew closer to Sephiroth. Unsheathing his own sword, he stepped into the field, his eyes seeming as cold as ice as the wind began to pick up. The temperature dropped as he looked up into the sky with his sharingan spotting Hirose. I'm going to kill him once I'm done with Sephiroth... he thought as he stood at the ready. Sephiroth smirked and his blade slowly started glowing red, katon chakra being added. However, another energy started forming over the katon, darkness. The blade was now black and red and Sephiroth suddenly vanish, and a twister was around Zane, up to 10 afterimages forming around Zane. Suddenly Sephiroth slashed at Zane ten times, almost at the same time and two at the legs, two at the chest, two at the back, two at the face and two more at the back of the neck. But the blade was enhanced by darkness and fire, making a deadly combination and from teh vortex being so fast Sephiroth before using his infamous Malicious Quickening, a vortex of flames around Zane, sucking the oxygen out of the area.
((xD best way to start is by using an old yet deadly attack!))

(You know I hate that jutsu... stare )
The moment the twister appeared around him, Zane had a sense of Deja Vu overtake him as his insticts naturally told him to get out fast. "Hyouga Shazou no Jutsu," Zane muttered as he replaced himself with an ice sculpture of himself. All Sephiroth did was chip away at the Ice version of Zane as the real Zane grinned away from the fires. Zane raised his sword in the sky as the temperature decreased even more. "Hisama..." Zane stated as the moisture in the air began to condense. Unknown to the Sephiroth, moisture above him began to form into somewhat large and sharp spears. These spears descended down upon all of the afterimages. A multiple attack that would hit each Sephiroth. If anything, he would be able to spot the real one with his sharingan.

Sephiroth stopped which when he did the ice replacement fell into peices. He felt the temperature drop considerably and heard a crashing noise, looking down seeing chunks of ice beginning to fall. Taking common sense he knew what this as and knew he would have to protect himself from the onslaught. The afterimages were fading quickly and Sephiroth sliced at the air from time to time destroying oncoming ice spears that rained from the sky. He weaved handsigns and a shield formed in his hand that is made from swirling winds. The hail peices were being thrown all over the place but away from himself. Once at was calming down he made handsigns and the sky became heavy as an ominous fog filled in the area. The fog was so think one could put his or her hand 10 inches from of their face and not see it. Hidden mist was known for the hidden mist technique, but Rain was known for being the most stealthy of all the villages. Sephiroth vanished into the haze, reemerging from behind Zane slashing his sword at him three times with rapid succcess. One aimed to cut 3 inches into his back, one was aimed at his legs, and then once more to take off his head.
Hidden Haze Technique
An advanced form of the Hidden Fog, the entire area is blanketed in a heavy Fog like clouds, which makes visibility even more hampered then it would in the hidden mist. If one was to hold their hand in front of them about 10 inches from their face, they wouldnt be able to see it. An excellent technique for recon and stealth. It is one of Hidden Rain's most favored techniques.

Hidden Fog Technique
Related to the hidden mist technique, the fog technique basically creates a heavy fog on the ground which raises up 15ft high. In the fog visibility is hampered more then the mists but mist's range is larger. ((height wise)) Here rain shinobi's stealth abilities are almost impossible to detect and wind jutsu only spreads it. If one looks at the ground they have a very hard time seeing their own feet. The fog lasts 5 posts per rank.))

(Come to think of it...I hate all of Sephiroth's jutsus..this one included...I'm telling you it's deja vu all over again)
"The fog..." Zane muttered as once again he had that crazy sense of deja vu. It was thick...more thick than that of the hidden mist. But this worked for him. The moisture in the air was thick even on him as the ice from his sword began to spread almost instantly unto his back. There was only one way out of this fog...and that was the sky. As the ice formed, Sephiroth appeared behind Zane just as he took one step forward to launch himself upwards. Sephiroth performed the first slash as it cut his back. Zane quickly stumbled forward, rolling unto the ground, avoiding the next two slashes and jumping back unto his feet as the Demonic Ice Wings took shape. Zane flapped his mighty ice wings once as he was sent flying into the sky. He soared high above the field, being able to see clearly now he faced the ground. "Heh...You almost got me Sephiroth..." Zane chuckled as he felt his back...it was completely fine. The ice spreading among his back for the wings acted as a sort of armor against Sephiroth's attack. It only chipped away at him, since the ice has been imbued with Zane's chakra. Zane stood on guard, at the read for anything to happen. As he was looking downward, he formed a tiny drop of water next to him.

Nitoru stepped out a swirl of wind a distance from the other two shinobi. He sat down calmly, his eyes locked on the battle. He was here to watch the Ex-Kage of his village fight. He wanted to see what effects the dark chakra the man wielded had on his personality.

Sephiroth smiled slightly seeing Zane's wings. So he has improved.... He thought as his own wings opened and he flew upwards and appeared out of the haze. For everyone on the ground they wouldn't be able to see the fight, which if they were an enemy of Sephiroth's it could be dangerous for them. Sephiroth got leveled with Zane smiling. "Well....I must say I never expected you to have wings of ice...with your chakra in it I obviously cannot alter it however...your not out of the clear just yet" He said as he made handsigns so fast it seemed all he did was raise one hand in the air. Slowly the sky grew darker, and thunder echoed in the distance. Sephiroth smiled as he pointed his masamune at Zane. "I hope your ready....its time to see who will prevail....and who will parish..." He said softly as the sky continued to grow darker. An oncoming storm almost seeming to be coming. Sephiroth's chakra was all in the sky. To any shinobi, this would appear odd but nothing they can really think of. To Rain shinobi.....its a totally different ball game.
This technique is but a powerful one. The user weaves together handsigns and the sky grows very dark for the first post. The next post it starts raining very heavily in the entire topic area which the rain is beating down hard. Visibility is slightly affected but the opponents movements are hampered greatly, holes and slopes become lakes quickly and all around this provides the user with advantages to use techniques easier. This downpour of rain lasts a total of 10 posts, and even aferward it continues to rain normally for another 10 posts. This could easily flood a village quickly, except for the Rain ((obviously))((I thought I'd make it more epic! whats better then two powerful shinobi clashing with a storm coming! though....the mist will be flooded. but hey its the msit)) [1]

Zean walked up nonchalantly next to Ronnel to watch the battle, if it forced four Kages to gather, this man wasn't a human. He let the temperature run low, like how Zane liked it, if he were to heat up all he would do is mess up Zane.

Katsuro flew right into the place and look up as the sky was getting darker. Thunder and lighting, stuck the ground and the air as if it was a real storm and he grind his teeth. He saw Sephiroth and the others fighting right now. "Sephiroth!!" he yelled so that almost every even Sephiroth would hear.
(well, i can see you since i can also fly in the sky. XD)

The darkness only helped to better hide Hirose as he glared down at Katsuro. This was Zane and Sephiroth's fight, nobody elses. Hirose decided to teach these dishonorable cur a lesson and flashed a number of seals. A large dark thunder cloud formed, but amongst the other dark clouds Sephiroth summoned it would be unnoticable. Almost immediately it began sending random but very powerful bolts of lightning down upon those below, starting with the one closest in its path, Katsuro. Invisible within the darkness of the clouds, Hirose began to flash another long stream of seals. If this shinobi wouldn't leave, then Hirose would defend the battle with everything he had.
