Ah, what a pretty day. The sky was clear, and the park was almost completely empty, save for some teenagers that were playing soccer over on the fields. Leo, the little pig boy, was happily playing on the slides not by himself, but with the company of a little plush rag dog that was safely in his lap. "Ready Mr. Scruffles?" the pink boy asked his plush toy, which responded with the same smile he always had sewn on his face.
"Okay then..." Leo scooted down, sliding down the plastic spiral slide with a giggle and a smile. He landed on his feet, losing his balance and falling to his knees in the sand. He giggled as he got up, picking up his plush dog and wiping the sand off him, "Wanna go again?" He asked the dog, who responded with a smile.

It wasn't to often that he left the house with his sister in tow because it wasn't that often that she wasn't hanging out somewhere or another with Ligeia. That and it wasn't as though he were the most trusted person to be watching after someone. It was rather likely that if he ran into someone that he didn't like that he would end up in a brawl with them, not something that any parent wanted for their young daughter to see. None the less it was Terpsichore and Baroness that were in charge of the journey to the park. There was a dark shadow that fell upon the part as the great shadow of the wyvern flew over head then set to doing lazy circles that slowly brought the trio down to the ground and she landed in a massive sand pit that the kids often played in and built sand castles in. She shifted on the sun warmed sands before plopping down in it, shifting a bit then gave a happy sound. There was nothing better in her mind then a good sand bit to warm herself in... well aside from a good fight, good food, and her horde though not necessarily in that order.
Ter looked down at Baroness as she plopped down in the sand and set to laughing as he watched the way she was attempting to partially bury herself in the sand box. He shook his head as he slid down off of her back and held his hands up to Maria who jumped down into his arms, "Alright, Ria. Where we going first?" He asked of his little sister.
"Umm, hmm. Not sure. What should we do first." She murmured to herself then looked over her shoulder and gave a giggle, "Thank you for the ride, Baro." She said, reaching out to pat her on the shoulder before she climbed and scrambled her way up onto her brother's shoulders. She looked back and forth for something of interest as her tail wrapped around her brother's arm to keep himself from falling. Her lavender eyes glanced from side to side, taking in all the details of the park before a soft, gasping sound escaped from her lips, "OH! Look, Ter! its Leo!"
She pushed up to stand on Ter's shoulders and started to wave her hands wildly in the air, "Leo! Leooooo!" She called out to him, "Hello, hello!"

Leo looked up from his plush dog, blinking. Some one was calling his name? Did he know some one here?! He looked around. His dad was half-watching from a nearby bench as he read he paper, he didn't know any of those teenagers...Finally, his eyes fell upon a girl he met a long time ago. Oh! He knew her!
"H-Hi!" Leo shouted back, waving a pudgy hand back at the girl. Name name name what was her name...Oh! That's right! Maria!
"How are you?" Leo asked, knowing that it was the "proper" thing to ask people you know when you see them again.

Ter gave a little grunting sound as he was climbed all over like a scaly perch for his excitable little sister. He lifted his arms up to pluck her off of his shoulders before putting her down on the ground, "There, you can go and play with your little friend." He told her, giving the kid in front of them a long and appraising look. He didn't look like someone that Ter had to worry about messing with his sister he decided. He was small, soft, and he could crush him with his coils without even trying so he didn't mind this 'Leo' in the least.
Maria looked up at her brother with a giggle, brushed off, and then walked over to where her friend was standing. The girl's pig tails were a bit crooked as normally Ligeia did her hair for her but this time Ter had attempted it, her clothing didn't exactly match, and instead of normal shoes she was wearing her rain boots. She had been allowed to dress herself, one could tell that from the pretty colors and many accessories that she'd wanted to wear.
"Hello, hello again Leo!" She said again when she got close, giving her friend a big hug before drawing back, "I am good, very good. We are packing to move to a bigger place!" She chirped, excited by this because she was going to have her very own room.
Ter coiled up and lounged back on them, watching the pair as they chatted and kept an eye on them but didn't see a reason to bother them. After all the chatter of small children really wasn't something he cared all that mucha bout.

Leo let out a little "oink" when Maria threw her arms around him, hugging back shyly. This was certainly an enthusiastic greeting! Leo smiled at his friend, listening to her explain what she had been up to as of late.
"You're moving?" the little pig boy asked, rather surprised. He never heard of any one real doing that, but he knew what it was from television and books, at least. You put all your stuff in boxes if it fit, then put it on a truck, then put it in a new place where you lived, then neighbors brought you Jell-o and Cookies and some thing called Briscuit, which his Dad wouldn't tell him what that was exactly.
"That's really neat! Have you gotten Jell-o yet?!"

Maria couldn't help but give a little giggling sound as she heard the 'oink' sound that came from her friend at the hug. Her long, armored tail set to swishing back and forth in a happy manner as she was hugged back. She drew back when he started to speak, "Mmm-Hmm, our place is small, small and the new place will be big!" She said, clapping her hands together. She couldn't wait, "I will be getting my own room."
Her head tilted to the side and her lavender eyes got a bit wide at his question, "Jell-O?" She asked of him, wondering what it had to do with moving and how she could go about getting some. It sounded like some sort of bonus that she had yet to hear about from her Father or Brothers...

"Y-Yeah!" Leo said enthusiastically, "When you move you're supposed to get Jell-o and some thing called Bris-cut and all sorts of stuff from your neighbors! At least that's how it happens in the cartoons..." Leo said, for the first time in his young life figuring out that cartoons didn't accurately reflect reality like he always thought. Huh, talk about a blow to your innocence.
"So you're getting your own room? Neat!" Leo said earnestly. While he had always had his own room his Dad told him stories of how when he was growing up he had to share a room with about ten other boys, which was a very scary thought for the piglet.

This was something that she had never heard of and something that had the girl looking quite excited just to think about it. So... they would get greeted by new neighbors when they moved and get given food as gifts? That sounded quite wonderful really! Her long tail set to swishing behind her as she thought about that before she turned to look over at her brother, "Doesn't it sound great, Ter?" She said, giving him a happy look.
The snake gave a shrug of his shoulder, he wasn't sure what he thought about a bunch of people visiting the place but if they brought food as a gift it wouldn't be so bad.
