This is the smallest and fastest of all the dragons, reaching only 15 feet in length when fully developed. It is copper in colour and carries a strong venom in its fangs. Its usual diet consists of goats and cows, but it also likes to eat humans. This caused some consternation in the late 19th century, when numbers of the creature were growing fast. The International Confederation of Wizards authorised a cull at this point in order to control the number of animals at large and protect the human population.
