Yes, it's true. Ace and Luffy aren't brothers at all, but grew up and trained together.

Ace is Gol D. Roger's Child, Luffy is Monkey D. Dragon's child. They grew up together just like brothers. However, this rumor about Whitebeard helping Ace find One Piece... that's fabricated. There's no evidence to support that.

i don't know about the finding one piece part...but the part that ace & luffy aren't brothers is true.
Read the manga (recommendedly from the start) its alot farther than anime plus it has alot more info on stuff and yea thats all true but iunno bout the last part
