Chobi:
Justinus let out a big lazy yawn from on of his tree branch. It had been an eventful day for the most part, but now the leopard was retiring in the saftey of a dead tree. High above the savanna.

Mind you, a gladiator wasn't worried about his saftey as much as he was just enjoying the view. The sun set was best enjoyed high above in a tree.

1/3:
Steken was out looking for cubs. Lately, it seemed, every time he escaped his sisters he'd run into a cub and have a great old time. Cubs were most definatly the best to play with.

He nodded solomly to himself, nose close to the ground. Cubs were small, after all. How was he ever going to see one if he was looking up over the grasses?

Rooting around like this though had it's dissadvantages. For one, he couldn't see where he was going. It was for this reason that he ended up running head first into the trunk of a tree.

Chobi:
Justinus was in a relaxed state when he felt a thud. The thud was so hard that the tree wobbled. The leopard looked down below to find a rather odd lion below.

The leopard lifted a brow. Had the lion done that on purpose.

"Can I help you?" He peered down at the big blue lion.

1/3:
He rubbed his head with one paw but otherwise didn't see too bad off. Between the thickness of his skull and the padding of his mane it hadn't hurt all too much at all. He didn't notice the leopard in the tree at all until he spoke. At which point he raised his head, looking up into the tree.

"Oh yeah," he grinned, rocking backwards to sit on his hind quarters. "I bet'chyu could. Have you got any little cubs around?"

Chobi:

This question made the leopard raise another brow. Was this a father who lost his cubs or was this a cub napper? The leopard chewed his lip for a moment.

" You're looking .... for cubs...?" His tone was half amused. A smile curled on the leopards maw as he climbed down the trunk of the tree.

"I'm afraid I've not seen any of those in a long while pal."

1/3:

He nodded enthusiasticly at the question. "Yes, yes," this was promising!

When the leopard let on that he had not in fact seen any cubs his face melted. His whole body drooped visibly.

"Oh," well. That was no fun.

Chobi:
Justinus lifted a brow. Maybe he was indeed looking for his lost cubs. The leopard plopped down beside the lion and just peered at him. An amused smile now completely spawned on his maw.

"You're a father then," The leopard concluded.

1/3:
He shook his head, a confused look on his face. He was most definatly not a father. How did one even become a father? Mal said it had something to do with snuggles. Unless it was with your sisters. It was still okay to snuggle sisters. He hadn't snuggled anyone but his sisters so he must not be a father.

"No..." he stood up and started wandering around. There wern't any cubs up in that tree. That much was clear. He'd just have to look harder.

Chobi:

Justinus tilted his head at the strange lion. He wasn't a father. . . Then why was he looking for cubs? A cub snatcher perhaps... and not a smart one. Most be someones toadie or something.

"Then I can not help you friend," He frowned and started back up the tree. There wasn't enough proof to call the lion a cub snatcher and start something.

1/3:

That made him pause. He turned to watch the leopard acend the tree. "Hey," he put his two front paws up on the trunk.

"If I was a father could you help me?" it seemed like the logical conclusion. All he had to do was be a father then he'd have all the cubs to play with that he could ever want. It made so much sense!

Chobi:
Justinus looked down at the lion. He must have really not been all that smart. The leopard chewed his lip and finally nodded, "If you were looking for your own cubs and were a father... Yeah," The leopard arched a brow.

1/3:

He wrinkled his nose. Okay NOW the leopard was back to making no sense at all. How dumb could this guy be?

"But if I was a father I'd already have cubs to play with and I wouldn't be looking!"

He frowned, "Lazy leopard! I bet you wouldn't play with me either."

Chobi:

The leopard looked shocked. Finally after a moment he let out a good hearted chuckle.

"Lazy?" The leopard had now reached the branch and was peering down at the big blue lion, "Lazy? I suppose," His tail hung off the branch in a lazed fashion and twitched from side to side in a rythmatic way.

1/3:

"Lazy and mean!" it was his best retort. Why couldn't the stranger be nicer to him? How hard could it be to play for a little while?

He looked up at the other cats dangling tail, a thought forming in his mind. If only he could catch that tail. He'd be able to pull the leopard down and then he'd HAVE to play!

Chobi:

The leopard looked down at the lion and frowned. Mean? Him? The leopard just crossed his paws and put his head down. Sleep sounded better then argueing with this blue lion.

Justinus closed his eyes and went to sleep.

1/3:
Steken tried a while longer to grab at the other cats tail but even with his enourmous size he simply wasn't large enough. Luckily for the leopard he was too dumb to attempt climbing the tree, and his attention span wasn't good enough to keep at it long. When he grew tried, he just sighed and went back to searching through the grass. He'd find a cub eventualy.
