With the moonlight casting its shadows across the lands, Toshiro found it easier to slip into the Matembezi lands. Easier, but not all too easy. As the piebald lion moved through the plantlife, his green eyes kept on the lookout. A guard could be anywhere... And then his skin would be very detached from his body. He couldn't have THAT, now could he? Finding a clearing, his eyes narrowed. Now that was a face he hadn't seen in a long... VERY long... Time... A grin crept across his face as he moved around to sneak up on her.
As with every night, Kimiko had come to the clearing to clear her mind. It was here she often thought of her children, none of which she'd seen since they were tiny cubs. Laying there, she did little to ensure her own safety. After all, the only safety she cared about was that of her cubs. Rolling onto her side, the white lioness let out a sigh. How were they doing...? The fur along her spine suddenly crept up, causing her to sit up and turn around. "Who's there?!"
Stepping out of the bushes and into the moonlight, Toshiro grinned. "Only a familiar face... Princess..." Trotting over, the silver-maned lion began to circle her. "What's the matter, Princess? You look so... Down... So BLUE... Are you missing all of your sisters you so KINDLY turned your back on?" Not that he was much to talk, he got out of the Maziko the first chance that opened up to him.
Turning to try and follow him, Kimiko felt her heart begin to race. "What do you WANT? Haven't you caused enough trouble?" She'd spoken to Kumbuko.. Why the young lion seemed to care about her so much. "Or are you not wanting to stop at killing your own MOTHER?" Glaring at him, she began to stand up. "And they turned their backs on me just as much! At least I care about MY family!"
Pausing to examine his claws, Toshiro's eyebrows went up. "That b***h? Of course I may not stop at just her. After all... How many half-sibblings do I have now?" He picked up a rock, examining it. He'd have to take this one back to Komali... That boy actually had promise... Very much unlike his OTHER four sons. "I'll find them, and kill them all... One.. By... One..." With each word, he scratched into the rock with a claw.
"You're a monster..." Moving to walk away, Kimiko glared at him. "I hope you die soon, and rot in the darkest corner of Hell." She had to get to a guard... Tell somebody that Toshiro was in the lands. Turning towards the dens, she began to trot towards them.
He couldn't have THAT, now could he? Running and cutting her off, Toshiro gave her an almost bored look. "And where are you going? I'm not done with you yet, Princess." He shoved her towards the trees on the other side of the clearing, trying to force her back the way he'd come. "No, there's plenty of unfinished business between us yet! I think I'll be taking you home! Your oldest sister would just LOVE to see one of her sisters join her, I'm sure!"
Gold eyes widening, Kimiko tried to go around him. Each move was met with the piebald in her direct path. "I'm not going anywhere! I AM home! THIS is my home now!" Claws extending, her paw shot out, smacking him across the face. With the darker lion stunned, she bolted for the trees, intent on reaching the dens and the guards. In any other situation, she'd send out a call for help, but her mind wasn't clear.
Snarling, Toshiro turned, taking off after her. She would NOT get away with that! Face stinging where her claws had hit, he raced after. A few feet from the trees, the male jumped on her, claws out and teeth bared. As they tumbled across the ground, he bit and clawed at her, intent on making his point clear. He would have killed her, had he not heard a deep, thundering roar near by. He looked up, growling. "This isn't OVER, Princess." Getting up, the male took off, slipping back off into the plantlife and the night.
Gasping and panting, Kimiko strugled to her feet. Her mind continued on the tangent of 'get help,' despite her battered state and pain. Ignorant of her bleeding, she limped for the pride, and the nearest source of the roar that had scared Toshiro off. When she found Ngoma, one of the new faces, she leaned on him for assistance back to the pride and to the healer's dens.
