Okay, Terry Goodkind wrote a new book. The Law of Nines.
I'm reading it and it's a lot like his Sword of Truth series. The world is, at least. But it takes place on Earth. However, the heroine comes from the Sword of Truth World. It's pretty good, so far.

Well, the book just came out in early August. But the author is one of New York Time's best selling authors. So I don't know. Worth a check, I guess.
