If you need to make Meso fast to fund another class thats dexless or something, that do you use? Right, a Cleric. If you didn't have a cleric, it'd be harder to make some Mesos. Catch my drift?

I say I don't have a favorite, yet somehow I manage to level mages way faster/higher than any other class. (I've tried making them all.)
